I installed the screen successfully, but the display quality is extremely poor. The colours are washed-out, the resolution looks wrong, and some text/icons appear randomly smaller or aliased. The display also seems to have a slight flicker or harsh brightness/colour profile, which causes noticeable eye strain after only a short time of use. The touchscreen sometimes becomes unresponsive, and I’ve had to reboot the phone twice to recover it. I’ve replaced many iPhone screens over the years, and this one is the worst I’ve ever seen that isn’t outright broken.

This screen works ok and is much better than my previously shattered screen, but there are a few issues. First off, it’s not as responsive as an original Apple screen, but I guess that’s to be expected. For my personal use, this isn’t an issue as I only really notice it when playing certain games on my phone, which I don’t do often. Secondly, the colouring is slightly off compared to the original screen. It’s perfectly fine and not too extreme but it is noticeable if you’re used to iPhones. The main reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 though is that it is almost unusable with the provided screen protector, and this is a problem for me as I have smashed several phones by dropping them! One of the reasons I chose this screen over others was that it came with the protector but I’ve had to take it off. On the positive side, it looks great, was easy to install by following the video on the listing and is definitely preferable to a cracked screen. One thing I would highly recommend doing if you buy this or any replacement screen to DIY is make sure you keep track of where all the little screws you take out go as they do differ slightly in size and screwdriver use. Oh, and if you are replacing the original Apple screen, I would recommend buying better quality screwdrivers. The ones that come with this were fine for most of the screws, but one of the Home Screen button screws was stuck and couldn’t be removed with this screwdriver. From the amount of YouTube videos I looked at, I gather that particular screw is tough to get out for quite a few people. Overall, I would recommend this replacement screen if you don’t mind not having a screen protector on and if you don’t want to pay a lot more to have a professional replace your screen for you. If I needed a replacement screen for a newer, more valuable phone, I’d go to a professional.

Arrived promptly next day, couldn’t believe the value received, the screen, all the tools needed for the repair which were good quality and not throw away, screen protector and frame adhesive sticker. Took just over an hour to do, followed the video, put back together and all was good again. Good sharp image, excellent brightness, perfect fit in phone and no lag to screen like other sellers. Even the front camera works again. Highly recommended.

Ok so first and foremost this screen works. However it is thicker than the existing screen so sits slightly proud of the case. Screen is not recognised as genuine by the iPhone so you get an electronic error message. The instructions are accurate but not particularly easy to follow, needed to search online for additional detail.

Purchased for Iphone 6 replacement screen. Good quality kit, only needed to swap home button due to being coded to phone but simple task. Tools all worked well and screen looked same as original with good response to touch. Watch the video in the Amazon ad not the You tube video which seems to refer to a less specified part. Only added comment would be when closing the screen finally after testing make sure you slide the top of the screen into the case first as there are two tabs to align before pressing the two parts together.
