LEONARDO Millefiori Bowl, Clear

This is a great bowl. Got it on Amazon long ago for an amazing price (it's much higher now). I use it every week once or twice, mostly for salads for one or two people. It's beautiful and has been durable. Unfortunately today I accidentally slammed it down upside down on the corner of the kitchen sink and stone countertop, and I chipped it. It was totally my fault, and in no way speaks to the durability of the bowl (except, of course for the fact that it is glass and not plastic). Wish I had bought a bunch more. It's well worth buying and a great item, especially for those who collect millefiori items, like I do.

I have these in drinking glasses and love them, but for the size of this bowl, even though it's not large, the glass seems to thin. Didn't return it, but I should have because I'm too scared to use it because it will probably break.

Diese Schale war ein Geschenk an meine Mutter, die diese Glaswaren von Leonardo "sammelt". Die Schale ist wirklich toll. Sie ist dünnwandig gearbeit. Ein paar wenige Lufteinschlüsse, aber das ist bei Mundgeblasenen Sachen voll ok und lässt hier keinen negativen Eindruck aufkommen. Tolles Zeug und gefreut hat sich die Mama auch....was will man da denn mehr?

Ich musste es zurückschicken, da eine der Blumen einen Riss enthielt. Ich bin enttäuscht, lieber als erstes im Geschäft anschauen und dann bestellen, obwohl der Preis für diese Serie bei Amazon sehr gut ist.

Ich habe das Produkt als Geschenk gekauft und die beschenkte hat bereits einige Teile aus der Reihe. Seitdem ist sie trotz Schüsselkonkurrenz sehr häufig zum Einsatz gekommen und das Geschenk kam gut an. Ansonsten ist die Schüssel schön gestaltet, stabil und in Größe und Form sehr praktisch.

Da es sich hier um Handarbeit handelt, ist nicht jedes Produkt gleich gut. Ich musste mehrere Versuche unternehmen, bis ich eine akzeptable Schüssel bekommen habe, die einigermaßen optisch fehlerfrei ist. Bei den dazugehörigen Dessert-Schalen gab es dieses Problem zum Glück nicht. Die waren alle soweit ok. Die Serie ist nicht Spülmaschinen geeignet. Das macht das Glas blind. Wer lange Freude daran haben möchte, sollte dieses Geschirr lieber mit der Hand spülen.
