Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen 2 (40AS0090)

Interacts will with Lenovo laptop and 2 external screens. Plug and play, while only needing to push hub button to start everything up. I work from home a couple of days per week. This makes starting my laptop up at home a whole lot easier, especially connected to 2 external monitors. NOTE: check connection to monitors. Hub comes with only 1 HDMI output and you may need another type cable for connection to a 2nd monitor.

This is the perfect solution to keep my laptop connected with accessories. Very happy with it!

Laptop works perfectly in office no issues with a different Lenovo Docking Station; but experiencing many issues with this docking station at home. It feels like this may be an off brand or possibly refurbished. The mouse and keyboard USB (2) do not work at all. My mouse and keyboard work on my Surface Dock, but not this one. Had to buy a new Mouse/Keyboard set and use a different USB Port. Monitors are only working about half the time. Constantly having to restart my machine for the monitors to be recognized. On top of this issue, there is 1 pixel line (vertical) on the left of both monitors that should be on the right side of the monitor. It's not displaying correctly, and I can't fix it... Using brand new cables purchased from Amazon, happens on both monitors. Again, no issues with these monitors using my Surface Dock, only experiencing these issues with this Lenovo Dock. Overall, I'm not really happy with this purchase, even with the discount; it's about the quality as a standard universal USB docking station.

Worked well for 3 years and now it's a piece of junk.

it's a good Docking Station but the Seller use another small USB-C To USB-C. It won't power up the monitors. I had to replace all of them for an extra $117. The seller needs to replace all USB-C.

Well it mostly worked fine for my Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 and a large dell monitor. Except I noticed the Thinkpad running Linux was occasionally experiencing a Window System lockup (KDE). As I hadn't experienced this on similarly configured machines without the hub I was suspicious. After seeing such an incident every week or so I plugged HDMI directly into the laptop and left the rest on the hub. After 5 weeks I haven't seen a repeat of the problem. So I advise caution with larger monitors driven from this hub.

Always been a fan of Lenovo products because their products are always of the best quality. This hub is no exception. Lots of USB port. One odd thing, there is only 1 HDMI and 2 Display ports. Not sure why. I would have also liked one more usb-c port. And this one also looks good, with the bottom red color!!

Absolutely perfect dock. Exceeded expectations as I was anticipating needing to change the power cable however it came with an appropriate cable for the UK.

It works fine with my laptop except for the HDMI connection. When I use it, I can see that the data is compressed and it looks awful. I had to use the laptop HDMI plug directly. Come with a US plug instead of a big Brit. I had to change the power coord.
