PLUSPOE RJ45 Coupler Ethernet Inline Connector Plugs for Cat5 Cat5e Cat6e Cat7 Cable (1 Pack- White)

I had to join 2 RJ45 connectors that used POE and these were perfect. My Starlink system needed some wiring changes when the power supply shorted out. I have an outdoor power pedestal with 2 network runs into my home. The pedestal is about 75 feet from the house and the cables enter the mechanical room where I placed the new power supply and Starlink router. I placed the Starlink dish near the pedestal and connected it to one of the network cables from the mechanical room in the pedestal. Since each network cable was already terminated with RJ45 connector and the Starlink system uses POE, I needed a connector rated for POE and so far the system is working great. Was a perfect 10 minute fix to my Starlink system.

I'm seeing a lot of complaints about this product and wanted to share my two cents. Some people are saying it blocks PoE. I'm currently using mine on a PoE security camera install, because like a dummy, I made my cables about 10 ft too short and only realized it after I had pulled the wires through the walls. They work perfectly fine for this application. The other issue I see complaints about are holding the plugs in. I did notice these didn't give the nice "click" that some jacks will do, but these still seem to keep everything secured. I did use new, quality ends when installing my cabling though. Perhaps the quality or previous use on the cable ends may make a difference but not from what I could see. Either way, these work great and I'm glad I found them.

I needed to extend my cat 6 cable. These were easy to install and I did not lose any internet speed.

These allow me to join multiple Ethernet cables rather than spend more money for longer cables!

I moved my desk and network switch to the other side of the room. The cable to the switch ran through several walls and I did not want to use another switch or re-run a longer cable. I used this with another cable to extend the connection to the new switch location. I have several devices connected downstream and have a 1Gbps internet connection. Speed tests show no difference using this connector, and reliability has been rock solid (I work from home full time).

I use them to connect areas where the ends of a single cord would be difficult to access. These can be placed where the connection is easily accessible.

Received 5 of them, Tested one and the speed didn't change. Added this connector between cat5e and cat6 cable. did a test before and after as showed. maxed out to the speed of the 1gbps Ethernet port. didn't test the other 4 assuming they should be fine. couldn't test higher speed due to the limitation of the port speed.

Quality connector with no speed lost. RJ45 fits securely but not overly tight. Good size and it's easily hidden.

I bought these to use smaller lengths of cable instead of my 100 foot long cables.
