Question 1

Does the vehicle key need to be in the cylinder and in the acc position for this to work or does this do away with the OE keys totally?

Accepted Answer

You will need to use a cut key in the ignition switch turned to the on position so the steering wheel is unlocked. The push button start switch mounts over the ignition switch thereby covering the cut key. See the pic at this Photobucket link for info on how it is done: http://s728.photobucket.com/user/taterps/media/Alarm%20Pics/HTB1Ig_uIVXXXXa.XVXXq6xXFXXXG.jpg.html

Dose this remote work with mercedes 2002 S320 ?

Accepted Answer

Dear Mahmoud, yes, the device can work on your mercedes 2002 S320 and you can buy it.Please kindly note that if there is chip immobilizer in your car OEM key fob, then you also need to buy an extra bypass module in order to make the alarm working well. Any universal bypass module can work with this item, like 556u or DBALL2, just properly install them will be ok.Besides, we sincerely recommend you to install it by a professional alarm installer if you are not familiar with car electrics or have no alarm installation experience. If you like, we can send the user manual and wire diagram to you for study before you purchase so that you can know whether you are capable to install it by yourself or need to install it by a professional alarm installer. If so, please tell us your email so that we can send them to you.If there is any questions, feel free to contact us. Have a nice day.Regards,Eddy
