Maybelline Super Stay 24 2-Step Liquid Lipstick, Keep It Red 35

This is a must have for women who like to wear lipstick but only want to put it on once a day and for those who don’t like leaving lipstick prints on cups, glasses, etc. It stay a really long time and doesn’t come off very easily. Downside is that it dries out your lips a bit and you have to use some type of makeup remover to get it off. Both things I’m totally willing to deal with for the positives of how long it stays on. Love all of the color options as well! Highly recommend!

I had bought this in a different color and noticed that it lasted for an entire 12-hour shift. So I decided to buy two more colors and I'm wearing one of them in the picture here. I tried the Wonder skin and I just don't like it as much. It doesn't last as long and I'm not crazy about trying to wipe off that blue stuff because you have to wipe it pretty hard and sometimes take off the lip stain with it. This isn't like that, all you have to do is let it dry up on your lips for two minutes and then apply the ball on top every so often to keep your lips moist. I don't think it's drying to your lips, but you do have to reapply the lip balm as long as you let it dry in in the beginning you won't get any on straws or cups. I'm actually quite pleased with this so far. It's my favorite.

At first, I wasn't impressed. The name of this is Maybelline Super Stay 24. Maybe I'm dumb, but I presumed the "24" meant the lipstick lasted 24 hours. It so does not. But take out that "24". What you're left with is an easy to apply liquid lipstick. Wait a few minutes, and apply the built-in gloss for a superlative shine. This color will stay with you while you drink your breakfast coffee. Depending on what you have for lunch, the color may fade, but mostly on the lower lip. After lunch, brush your teeth (do NOT remove the lipstick), reapply the color, wait a few, then reapply the gloss. This stuff will last until the end of the work day and possibly even beyond. i find several things impressive about this lipstick: the number of colors, both matte and shimmer; the built-in gloss; the fact that the color is relatively "thin" so you don't have to take time to fully remove if you don't have to--just layer the color, wait a minute, apply the gloss and go. My favorite lip colors are the deep, dark reds, so my favorite one here is Optic Ruby. I have one in my bathroom and in my handbag. And the price is reasonable. In my opinion, Maybelline does a fine job of lipsticks. The closest rival to Super Stay 24 is Maybelline Matte Ink (Exhilarator and Voyager for the dark reds). I wore those colors for years before I retired because the color really did stay on forever, even through lunch. The only problem was my lips would sometimes become dry, and if I tried any kind of gloss, the lipstick would smear. So at this point in my life, this lippie is my favorite. Hope this helps. Thanks.

I like this product, though I can understand why some might not. I'll try to list my pros and cons. This shade was darker than I expected, but still a nice red. It seems to be neutral- in some lights it seems warmer and in some lights cooler. It is a marsala color (2015 color of the year), a deep red wine color. it is intense without being bright or garish. It will lessen in intensity with time. It does not stay on 24 hours, but it stays on longer than most of my lipsticks. It will not last as long if you eat oily foods. It does have staying power. It absolutely will NOT transfer if you apply it correctly. Which leads to things that might be 'cons' for some people. You must apply this correctly. Apply the color, and wait the full two minutes (or longer) before applying the balm. It will feel sticky or tacky as it dries, but this will go away when you apply the balm. Then it feels fine. I said it stays on longer than my other lipsticks, but the downside of this is if you mess up applying it, you now have a red spot on your face. Keep some make up remover on hand. A swipe with a make up remover pen or remover on a q tip will take care of mistakes. As this is a liquid lipstick, you need to be careful applying it. I line my lips with it carefully, then fill in. It will wear off with time, and as it wears off it can be a little patchy. If it has not worn off by bedtime, you will need make up remover to get it off. All this might seem like a lot of work for a lip color, but it's worth it to me as you can get the hang of it quickly and it stays on a long time so you have few touch ups, plus... IT WILL NOT TRANSFER. No lip marks on cups or glasses-- or on my husband's face! I also have this in the chestnut color which I love as well (it's not quite as intense- that one is rather a 1990s brown, whereas this is a classic deep red).

In my quest to find the perfect lipstick that doesn’t fade or smudge or disappear if I drink something or brush my teeth or eat a bite of something. I’ve tried dozens and dozens of brands and colors only to be disappointed. Not now!! I’ve finally found the perfect brand: MAYBELLINE COLOR STAY 24!! This lip stain does NOT fade or wipe off or disappear for hours and hours! It’s completely smudge resistant!! Not only does this lipstick stay on for a true 24 hours. It also comes with its own glossy moisturizer that helps seal the color and moisturizes your lips. I woke up this morning and what a nice surprise that this lipstick is still on my lips! It stayed on even after I washed my face with soap and water! All I had to do to do is reapply the moisturizer and I’m all set!! I should mention here that if you need to get it off all you need to do is rub some Vaseline on your lips and wipe off, do this 3-4 times and your lips are free. This is an amazing lipstick and it comes in tons of colors! Now, I just had to find the perfect color for my complexion. That was another hurtle. I have literally tried 9 different colors of this line before I found THE ONE! I’m olive complected , tan easily but am quite pale in the wintertime and I needed rose-ish, mauve-ish, plum-ish color, that doesn’t wash out my skin tone like the reds do, and I needed a color to complement my rosy cheeks and not make my lips pale like the pinks do. Sounds crazy, I know! But I was determined to find the perfect color for me in this Maybelline line. And here it is: TIMELESS ROSE! It’s vibrant but not dark. It’s subtle but not pale. It’s a nice light rose color that has some shine and it complements my skin beautifully My now favorite line and favorite color! I’m in love!!

I love these lipsticks! They really last along time, some colors more than others. I have several colors and never disappointed. I usually bought at Ulta but can’t find them there anymore. I am so relieved that I can still get from Amazon. Stock up!

I've used varying colors of this over the years and it seems they've changed the formula recently. It's not as long lasting as it used to be. The color is still vibrant and exactly what you would expect. But the durability just isn't there anymore.

I love this lipstick. It’s a beautiful color and has great staying power, even through meals. Oily foods, such as fried chicken, do fade it somewhat. But otherwise not even. “waterproof mascara remover.” takes it off. I use cold cream for that.

I like that it stays on most of the day!

I have these in most colours now and adore them. Some colours that look different on the advert are almost identical but I will use them all. If there was a criticism it would be that the gloss end runs out before the lip stain end so could do with being a bit fuller. Stays on though . Very pleased and I wouldn't use anything else

Muy bien

I’ve tried them all—Revlon, LipSense, mystery-brand “24-hour” products that vanish by lunchtime—and this is the one I keep coming back to. Maybelline SuperStay 24HR Lip Color is my go-to. It lasts, it doesn't flake or chunk off, it doesn’t end up on my coffee cups or cling to my hair like a bad relationship. It gives me that glossy look without the sticky feel (a rare and magical combo). The price is reasonable, the quality is top tier, and it actually wears comfortably—I forget I even have it on. My one wish? More shade options, please! Some pearly, metallic, or glittery finishes would be amazing. And can we talk about RED? Not cherry—I want bold, firetruck, retro-flame red to match my vintage style. Maybelline, can you hear me? Highly recommended if you want lips that stay put and look fabulous doing it. 💄🔥

Stays on all night, even wake up in the morning and its still there!!! Never gonna use another type of lippy
