Needed for Blu-ray playing.
Nice remote looks original works great! I have a LG bd570 Blu Ray player and you can't play Blu Rays without a remote! The play button on the bd unit works for DVD but not Blu-ray! The price is good too.

Saved my player.
This resurrected my LG Blue Disk player. It had stopped working and I thought it just might be the remote, so I ordered this replacement using the exact model number on the old remote. Works well glad I got it and it’s nice to be watching some movies again on it.

God Send Remote Replacement
The original remote to my Blu-ray player just stopped working unexpectedly. Thank goodness Amazon has a replacement remote that does everything the original remote did. For cheap money I now do not have to purchase a whole new player.
