solid reel
super solid reel drag is very nice, no need for a dc if you tune it correctly or just use your thumb. Very easy to use and barely backlashes on me if you cast correctly. On a good day i can cast over 100 feet with a 1/8 oz jig head

worth the buy
totally worth the money, clean cast, once you dial the control down it cast like a dream, worked at a good speed for what baits i used it for, easy adjustment on the spot.

Good reel for the money
Seems like a great reel so far. I fished with it today in light to heavy winds with no problems no backlashes and lots of distance casting. Reel is super smooth, lightweight and has a nice feel in hand. Takes just a little bit of set up to get it working the way i liked, but it fished real nice today, and I had some really strong winds for a lot of the day. I would buy it again for now, but only have used it once.

Great Reels
I have fished with these reels for 2 seasons and they have performed excellent for me so far. Once you get the tension knob and breaks set for your line and lure weight, you'll be surprised how far these small reels can cast weightless baits like a 5-6" Senko and 4" swimbaits. They are not the quietest reels when casting, however they are very smooth on the retrieve and I have never had any issues with locking the drag down a pulling big bass through heavy grass. I like to use 7'3" and 7'4" M-MH rods with 10,12 and14lb test lines. Just remember to oil the break pipe and spool bearings once in a while and you'll be good. Happy fishing.

A smooth casting reel!
Wow..I fish alot of tournaments and fish on a regular basis. I own several Shimano slx and curado dcs..this one is way smoother. Just a delight to cast. I paired this with a chatterbait rod. I used it in super clear water and man can it cast a distance! Love it.
