This book is, in my opinion, overpriced. Important details are left out. It’s as though the writer expects the reader to already be familiar with all the little buttons in the app or to have prior experience using photoshop. Why would someone buy this product if they already had photoshop?

I am a very amateur photographer/photo editor. I have watched endless tutorials for Photoshop and Light Rooom and spent a  endless hours/large amounts for "courses". Still I struggle. But, having found Affinity Photo, and having found this Guidebook, I now feel I am getting somewhere. I especially like that it guides the user through a technique from start to finish with good clear images where applicable. It does lack guidance when you need to select a tool that is part of a tool set, but with patience the user can eventually find what he/she needs. I highly recommend this Manual for the new user of Affinity Photo.
