Two things to know if you have a DeWalt saw: 1) It’s necessary to remove the black metal guard so as to achieve a full stroke, and 2) Mount the wire brush in an inverted manner, especially if you intend to work on flat surfaces (see attached pic). I found it worked best for me to only use the front portion of the brush on a flat stone surface.
