I reclutched my Yaris today with this kit and it works great and was shipped fast. 284000 miles on original clutch so this should finish the life of the vehicle as this point. Thanks for the great deal

What a difference !! Installed it myself. Great clutch, grea kit ! It fits perfectly in my Celica 2000 GTS. Shifting is smooth. Just make sure you grease the fork, the throw out bearing and do a clutch fluid flush in the slave cylinder.

I'd give zero stars if possible. My car no longer works and I can't afford a new part. So enraged.

Had a couple of issues with these clutches on a base model 2005 Pontiac Vibe (identical engine / transmission to the Toyota Matrix). The alignment holes on the pressure plate didn't quite line up with the studs on my engine (1ZZ model engine). Sent one clutch back thinking it was defective and got a replacement with the same issue. However, all the mounting bolt holes were aligned perfectly (which is what really matters I think), so maybe it was just that the mounting studs on my engine were slightly bent? Hopefully shouldn't be an issue on other models (and if it is, just take a drill to those stud holes!) - anyone else encounter this problem?! The other kind of annoying thing is that both kits I received only contained one clutch alignment tool (unlike the two shown in the product image) and they definitely do not fit the flywheel recess on these model cars. In case you're wondering, I received the narrower of the two tools in my kits - the thicker one looks like it might be the ticket so maybe you'll get lucky. It is possible to align the clutch by eye (what I did) but it makes the job a bit fiddly. There's a good chance you'll spend the afternoon bench-pressing a transmission. All in all a good clutch for the price (once it's in there!). It's been 5k since I installed mine and I'm 100% happy with it so far.

Great Clutch kit, the alignment tool worked well enough so I didn't have to find some other professional tool. Just use what is supplied and the mating of the tranny to the engine will go fine. Also make sure the clutch disc is facing the correct way, thicker side towards transmission.
