Works just like the original
My original Garmin cable died, and this one works exactly like the factory one. It clips on securely and charges at the same speed. Great spare to have.

Purchased because left charger at home and needed one while traveling. Delivered quickly and was able to charge watch. Works great and charges fast.

Connects correctly to my Fenix3 HR; charging is very fast. Is that good or bad?
I like that it connects to my Fenix 3HR with no issues, but it does charge much faster that the OEM product. I'm not sure if that will harm the Garmin battery over time, so I keep a close eye on the charge status and make sure to disconnect it when the watch is adequately charged, but I won't let it go to 100%, just in case. I still have my original charger, but keep this one in my travel bag in case I forget to pack the original.

Fenix 3 Charger
The original charger I had finally broke. This one was perfect.

Works great!
I left home and was far away for several weeks and I had forgotten my charger at home. I was in the States so I ordered it from Amazon and it got there right away but my watch had already lost all battery power. So, the kicker is, when I got back home and started to use my regular charger, it was a bit corroded and wouldn't work so I am so glad that I had this spare. I put it in my car so as to never be without one but had to bring it into the house and use it. It also has a detachable cable unlike the original charger so I can possibly use that cable some day as I use several of this kind. Glad I bought it!
