Review: Gives a minimalist look and feel - I purchased these for my 1st floor remodel. I went with a minimalist design look, clean lines. I didn't want the lights to over power the room and wanted them to really look as though you cant even notice them. These did the job! very seamless look throughout my first floor, kitchen, family room and sitting room. Almost 3 years later and I'm repurchasing them for my basement remodel.
Review: Hole saw size 2 7/8" - Overall I'm Very pleased with these lights. The hole template is a metric size. You can use a 3" inch hole saw, but a 2-7/8" gives a tighter fit. First time I connected them to my Lutron dimmer, the lights just went to Maximum, and I assumed they were not compatible with Lutron dimmers. However, by swapping the positions of the live wires, from top to bottom & vice versa, the dimmer worked.
