Great therapeutic pillow
I have been having pinch nerve issues where my fingers fall asleep with the pillow I had, so I started to search for pillows that would alleviate that and stay within a budget. Although this pillow cost more than I wanted to spend, the only other pillow that I was considering cost $100 more than this Purple pillow, so I purchased this pillow. The neck pains and pinch nerve issues are mostly gone. It is comfortable, maintains its shape and keeps you cool. I hope this pillow lasts a few years.

Best Pillow on the Market
Best pillow I’ve ever owned. Four years in, still holds its shape and firmness like day one. Expensive, but absolutely worth it. I’d buy the same one again without hesitation.

Extremely comfortable breathable substantial pillow
I’m going to be honest when i was looking at reviews i was skeptical this wasn’t going to be comfortable. I thought the grids would’ve been intrusive, but the honest truth is, This is the best pillow I’ve ever used. The latex core they use is just a mold of your head and the weight resistance is just enough to keep your head from going flat down so it kind of just floats there in line with your spine whether your a back side or face sleeper. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a nice sleep. Just be warned it is a pricy pillow but for quality sleep I’d say it’s worth it!

Decent pillow; medium-firm; heavy
I was looking to replace my old latex pillow from BBB. I have tried several but finding just the right one has been elusive. Although expensive, I was confident this would be THE one. Sadly, it isn't. For a latex pillow, this IS really nice. It is comfortable and solid latex - hard to find. It is medium-firm and has decent spring back. But for me, it doesn't have enough sink. It is actually too firm and I felt my neck was cranked all night (I am 5'6", 135#, side sleeper, ordered the 6.5" one). I do think the cooling Purple grid works pretty well but at the same time, I could feel the grid under my pillow case. The pillow is very heavy.

Thinking outside the pillowcase
I suffer from mild to moderate insomnia, so getting a good nights sleep has become increasingly difficult for me. I have been searching for a satisfactory pillow for years and have experimented with many different types. My best effort to date is a Temperpedic memory foam, but after considerably more research, I purchased the Purple Harmony to see if that might be better than my current Temperpedic. It’s pretty obvious after a few nights that the purple is a clear improvement. I am predominantly a side sleeper of average size (5’11” and 170 lbs) with no physical issues so I purchased the medium version. It’s “expensive” at $160 and numerous reviewers have commented on the cost. I average about 8-9 hours in bed which is literally one third of my life so I find it hard to believe people complain about cost; I can’t make one in my basement workshop and I spend on many less important things. The time in bed also dictates how the next day will go if I don’t get a reasonable nights sleep and a decent pillow is crucial to body alignment and overall comfort in bed. The pillow is well made and I didn’t notice any objectionable odor even during the first night. Support and comfort is actually hard to describe; my Temperpedic becomes warm and is overly firm for me after my head settles into position. The Purple provides enough support for me and yet my head feels like it’s “floating”. I don’t know how they accomplished this but I’m extremely happy with the effect. It’s also noticeably cooler than the Temperpedic. I haven’t experienced “grid face” in the morning as others have commented. I occasionally would have some neck stiffness and mild shoulder discomfort from the Temperpedic but not with the Purple. I’ve only used it for a few nights so should that change I’ll update the review. This pillow is not going to cure my moderate insomnia but once I clear my mind of negative energy it seemed much easier to drift off to sleep. It’s definitely not a panacea but it is a big step towards getting a better nights sleep. I will likely purchase the tall version as well just to see if that offers even more improvement. I’d also encourage any who read this review to follow the other proven steps for a good nights sleep (regular bedtime, no computer screens, good mattress, air flow, cool conditions, etc). When you spend a third of your life in bed, careful planning is important and cost should be the least of your concerns! Very highly recommended but I will revisit this review if that changes.

Perfection AMENDED
Update: I bought this beginning of May. It’s is now the end of July. Not even yet 4 months! This pillow lost its umph. My head sinks down pretty far and I wake up with neck and shoulder pain. There is now ZERO support. For the amount that this pillow cost, $200, it should last longer than 3 to 4 months. I cannot tell you how angry with this I am. I feel scammed. It’s a total pile of b.s. I absolutely do not recommend. If it only lasts 3 or so months, I’m definitely not buying another one. Went from 5 stars to negative stars. I originally got the medium height one. I felt like it wasn’t enough so exchanged it for the tall loft one. I got it inside, opened it up and put a pillow case on it. Then laid on it to see if it was indeed what I needed. And I kid you not, I fell asleep in under 2 minutes. I’m an insomniac, so randomly falling asleep just never happens. This thing is perfect for me. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pillow for over a year, and was always disappointed. I am really looking forward to bed time tonight. I also really like and appreciate how this thing arrived. It came in a big box. When I opened it, the pillow was there in all its wonderful glory. Thick, fluffy and squishy just waiting for me. It was wrapped in plastic so not to get dirty during transit, so it was pristine. But the point is, it arrived ready to use. I’ve never had an Amazon bought pillow arrive like that. They’ve always arrived flat and compressed. Then you have to air it out to inflate and destink it for HOURS. Purple pillow wasn’t like that. Like I said, ready to use without structural integrity being compromised. So I appreciate the presentation of it. Cause I mean, you spend 200 bucks on a pillow, you wanna feel like a boss when opening it. So. I’m really pleased and hope it lasts a long time. UPDATE: You cannot use fancy percale pillowcases on the tall purple. By the time you get the pillow stuffed in the case, it’s pretty tight and has no give. Had to buy jersey knit pillowcases. Needs a stretchy pillowcase to allow for it to giveaway to your head and movement. Also not really getting a cooling effect. Kinda makes me sweat actually. But it’s still the best sleep of my life…every night.

Never going back!
The most I had ever previously spent on a pillow was $50 (which I thought was a lot), & finding pillows that were firm & supportive enough was difficult at best. My previous favorite had to be replaced every 6 months, & then they changed their design. It no longer met my needs. I was on the hunt again... Two years ago, I found the tall Harmony Purple Pillow. I hesitated because of the price. (I was poor most of my life, so I was thinking, "What kind of caviar & yacht pillow is this?!? Nah.") But then I read one reviewer's comment that pointed out that, even if the pillow only lasted a year, that equated to something like $16/month for quality sleep. With all my arthritis & what not, that was a solid point. I skeptically bought one & kept telling myself "$16 a month...$16 a month...." Yo. I am NEVER going back. This pillow has alleviated so much neck, back, & shoulder pain while I sleep! Then we bought my husband one....same outcome. Then my best friend (whose had neck surgery) bought one. Then we all bought travel versions since we can't live without them now. Then our adult kids asked for their own for Christmas. While changing our sheets today, we were commenting that the pillows have held up well & looked back in our Amazon orders & saw that we bought ours 2 years ago...2 years & zero signs of losing support or structure! So now, we're at a $8.72/month investment....worth every. single. cent. Downsides? Hmm.....I can only think of 2. First, I routinely wake up with the waffle weave pattern embossed on my cheek, but I'm come to associate that with a good night of sleep. If you're sensitive about what gets embossed on your face, this might be a deterrent for you. Second, no other pillow meets our needs anymore. Traveling became miserable, & we found ourselves buying stacks of cheap pillows & abandoning them at hotels & house rentals. We finally pulled the trigger on the travel versions, & now we're good to go. TLDR: These pillows are amazing, & you'll become a pillow snob.

I was scolded for how much I would spend on this pillow but seriously if you care about quality and your sleep, this is the pillow for you! I low how squishy yet firm and supportive it is! And stay cool! Very happy with my purchase!

Soft... and Firm at the same time. Love it.
Was a little skeptical, but haven't had the best of luck finding pillows I like, as I'm very picky about this. And when I do find them, they never seem to last. I don't like memory foam (too firm). Decided to try some latex pillows and ordered this one along with one other. So figured I'd give this a try and if I didn't like it, just return it. Well it arrived the other day and I LOVE it. It's very malleable. I always spend some of my downtime in bed reading my kindle. So I like to lay on my side when I do this. It works great for that. Head is at the correct height and if I bunch up the pillow just a little, I can be right on the end of the pillow so I can read my kindle that's propped up on the bed. I also sleep on my back a lot. Again, this is working great for that. Constant support throughout the night. It's hard to describe. It is very comfortable and has lots of cushioning. But it also has a firmness to it that supports my head. It doesn't have that pure softness that other pillows have. But that little firmness is what I assume allows it to keep doing it's thing all night long. And that firmness, isn't so firm as to cause issues, just enough to keep things supported. I was hesitant about it... but am so glad I decided to give it a go - worth every penny. Now it'll just be a matter of how long it holds up. Pillows I've had in the past (even expensive ones) rarely lasted longer than ~14 mths, but none of those were latex ones... so will see.

Très bien, mais très cher
Un très bon oreiller confortable qui garde la tête au froid, mais excessivement cher.

No support
Nice texture but too soft. Gives no support for your neck. Too much money for a pillow that doesn’t serve proper support. I feel like I’m not sleeping on much of a pillow. T.P. Ontario
