Really good little tool set, worked perfectly for what I needed it for, love the different wax options.I did have to contact Dussal for a replacement as the heat tool stopped working after initial use, they were very respondant and sent another set within days, great service!!

What I disliked about the product was the iron. The button won't say down and gets hard on the fingers and thumb. And does not get hot very fast.

I’ll discuss the pros and cons. It works, but it’s a pain in the butt you have to hold down the button for it to stay hot at all times and it does get pretty hot but your thumb starts to hurt because the wax needs to stay constantly hot to burn into the crevice you’re trying to patch. It does not come with batteries so you have to put two double AAs in it and not rechargeable. It is not very solid and very cheap plastic so I actually broke it the second time I used it the metal rod popped in and it still works but I constantly have to pull it out. The waxes are a nice array of colors and work well on hardwood floors. Just be careful don’t push it down too hard while using let the hot tip do it’s job.

I was looking forward to this to fix a cabinet. I put in the batteries, did not work. And the tip fell off. Tried to fix it. Still didn’t work. Put in new batteries. The tip never got hot but the handle did, it got too hot, to the point that I had to remove the batteries. The tool is made of cheap plastic, not worthy to call a tool. I am very disappointed. Too much hassle to replace. Maybe if they could upgrade the quality of the too, it might work.

The melting tool heats up very quickly considering it runs on batteries. The wax can be melted into the scratch without too much trouble and the scratch definitely looks better after being waxed. It’s nice that excess wax can be scraped off with ease

I looked at several repair kits before choosing this one. I had 2 floors to repair. After taking a little time to find out how to match the colors, which was actually fun, it did a great job of repairing damage to a very dark and very light vinyl floor. I would definitely recommend this to repair a vinyl floor or similar object.

good luck trying to match a standard honey oak floor. I am somewhat artistic but found the wax to be awkward to work with. the tool is useless and i find it hard to believe a wax puddle in a divot is a sustainable repair.

I used it to cover 2 scratches in my laminate flooring and it covers the scratch pretty well. Seems durable, but time will tell. It's easy to use the product and applicator.

Works very well on large and small damaged floors.

Love that this is an entire kit with a good assortment of colors. I had a bit of trouble melting the waxes to the right consistency with the tool provided. Might just be me as a beginner not having great technique. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fairly straightforward to mix the wax Colors provided to try and match the floor Color…however the heat took to melt the wax included failed after the first use

Tool didn't work at all. Tried multiple batteries...no dice. My solution to fix my floors with this kit was a second or two with a lighter to melt the wax and then rub it into the floor, waited a couple seconds to cool and used my finger to press it harder in and even it out...then a couple more seconds for it to solidify a little (but not completely) before scrapping it with the tools and blending it in. If you wait too long to scrap it it all comes out as one piece... This set does not work well on shallow scratches...works best on deep ones so the wax has something to hold onto...will likely look at getting a touch up marker for shallow scratches. To potential buyers, I would recommend you find a wax set by itself instead of this set as the tool did not work at all for me and you could likely find just the wax for cheaper...but if you're in a bind this kit did the trick for me.
