The delightful designs on each face are perfectly in line with the "art deco & sorcery" aesthetic of Qistina Kalidah, one of the most prominent art designers for the Dragon Age video games. Bought a set of these to go along with the boxed starter set of the Dragon Age Tabletop RPG by Green Ronin, and they fit so well! Look great on the table too. A few of my friends and I ran through the starter adventure, and I got some decent rolls with them, so I'd say they're fair, from my experience. Though I know balance can some times be an issue with any dice set, and some folks get a lemming now and then (I think one of the black dice has it in for me, rolled more than a few 1s haha). I'm sure they'll serve me well in other games as well, though since we got a taste of the system we're thinking about doing more Dragon Age tabletop adventures in the future. I know some folks have said they're tough to read, and I guess I can see how that may be an issue. Never had trouble with that myself though. My only minor complaint is that the engraving of these is somewhat shallow, so I'm afraid they may wear down in the future.
