Great bulk value/quality
Great flavor, texture, and value. They keep well too, I still have one pack left and I bought them over a year ago.

Better than all the normal pasta brands.
This is a good brand pasta from Italy made with only semolina and water. No bleached enriched flour. I have been eating pasta for over 65 years and since I visited Italy 7 years ago, i only buy pasta made from only non enriched flour now. With the wheat availability issues and Ukraine war this brand and bucatini specifically has been hard to find at my local supermarket.

Best of four Bucatini brands Iโve cooked up.
Tried four different brands of bucatini, of which Garofalo Bucatini was the least expensive, by far. The Garofalo brand cooks much faster, is more flavorful, and offered a much smoother texture and bite than any other brand of bucatini I tried. It held sauce very well and twirled/held into a nice cone for plating better than the other brands. It also reheated the next day better, without getting stiff and starchy. Itโs like spaghetti on steroids, robust and perfect for family-style platters.

Toothsome goodness
I donโt know why this product is so hard to find in the supermarket. But if you have not tried Bucatini, you should! For some reason it does tend to be pricier then typical spaghetti. But it works well with your more unique pasta dishes and will impress your guests. This pasta is sturdy enough for some heavier sauces while still being fun and easy enough to twirl on your fork. It cooks up nicely and has excellent flavor. The texture is satisfying and fulfilling. This week I used it to make a carbonara and was delighted with the results.

An excellent bucatini, good pasta overall
The Garofalo pastaficio turns out a high quality product. It is not ultimate high-end "like nonna made" (as if your grandmother ever made bucatini...) but this is several steps above what you see in most US supermarkets. As the classic base for amatriciana, bucatini are something to have on hand for anyone who wants to remember their Roman holiday. The bite with a good semolina wheat is a great complement to tomato sauces. If you want to up your pasta game, Garofalo is a great choice at a reasonable price point.

The Best Bucatini Ever!
I bought this Garofalo bucatini after no longer being able to find my usual brand in the grocery store. My husband has just started cooking during the pandemic, and one of the three dishes he'll prepare is bucatini amatriciana. I certainly wasn't going to give him an excuse not to make it. Even though this costs more, it is much better than my usual, with great flavor and texture. Even though it's dried, it tastes closer to homemade than other dried pastas. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I buy these often.
I no longer buy regular spaghetti or linguini. Haven't done so for years, as this is what our family prefers for tomato based pasta dishes. Holds its shaped well when cooking and draining, especially if mixed with tri-color fusilli or radiatori. Hard to find in our local grocery stores.

Top notch spaghetti
This is a great spaghetti, with outstanding taste, flavor, consistency, and really outstanding Al Dente. It takes up the sauce nicely and retains its consistency the next day. It is the best spaghetti I have ever had from an 81-year-old Italian. On top of that it is the lowest cost of bucatini on Amazon. Go, Garofalo.
