Great looking product but so slooooooow
I have ordered and received this product three times. Cosmetically they are perfect but are very slow. I have tried breaking them in slowly but to no avail. Delivery has been great and they are as described zero complaints with Amazon.

HO scale
I bought this train for my son because he like trains specially the HO scale and we found it in Amazon for a better price. The quality is exactly of the other ones and the size is exactly what the website explained. He’s gonna use this train for playing and to add one more for his collection!

THIS ENGINE CAME BROKEN. PARTS MISSING. SCREWS MISSING. THIS ENGINE IS COMPLETELY USELESS. I CAN NOT RATE ITEM. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE CONDITION OF THIS ENGINE. SOMEONE REALLY DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS ONE. CONDITION WAS NOT AS DESCRIBED, UNREAL. BODY-MOUNTED MAGNETIC KNUCKLE COUPLERS WERE REMOVED FROM ENGINE. AMAZON KNOWS I HAVE BOUGHT TOO MUCH AND I DON'T COMPLAIN. I HAD TO WRITE THIS INFO.

Great gift for the little train enthusiast
I purchased this engine as a replacement for one that was broken partially due to age (40 some years) and the rough handling by my seven year old son. It has beautiful detail and is just as heavy as our previous one. It’s been dropped once from about three and a half feet and only a small plastic piece was broken off. I highly recommend the purchase of this engine even if your a somewhat moderate train enthusiast.

Un tanto decepcionado
La maquina en si se ve muy bonita, tristemente no se si obtuve una defectuosa pues ya he comprado walthers en otras ocasiones sin ninguna queja, pero en esta ocasion hay varios problemas: la velocidad no es la mejor y el mas grave es que hace un ruido muy feo el motor, ya la he verificado y desarmado para ver que es, y es algo que viene ya dentro del motor. Hasta el momento trabaja bien (poco uso) pero genera desconfianza que vaya a durar y definitivamente el ruido no es normal

I had originally ordered this to put on my lay out.. I thought I better return as I have 3 engines already… I regret that and have reordered as this is a high quality lo price Canadian engine. Thanks my new one should be here today and I can’t wait
