Yes, it is expensive, but they have spent so much time with it that I still consider it a good value.The design is simple- PVC pipes of standard lengths and a bunch of wooden cubes with holes cut on each side. Add some heavy duty clips to hold your blankets and sheets in place, and voila! You have an awesome fort construction set! Why didn't I think of that? The quality of workmanship is excellent, as the kids have no problem putting together some pretty awesome structures in no time. I've lost track of the number of secret clubhouses, trains, airplanes, tunnels, etc., we've seen at our house since this extremely cool toy arrived.
