Diva By Ungaro Eau De Parfum Spray 1.7 Oz For Women by Emanuel Ungaro

I am over the moon with happiness because I finally found a very unique wonderful fragrance that I love. Let me tell you my story. Back in the 80's my favorite fragrance was Fendi. I wore it for years and then around 2005 it was discontinued and pulled from the market. The reason being was the licensing agreement with Gucci had expired. It was my favorite and I would receive so many compliments and I was sad when I couldn't find it any longer. Fast forward.....I did some major research and found that the perfume Diva smelled remarkably similar to Fendi. Diva is made by the French Fashion House, Emanuel Ungaro and while Diva is not an identical clone, it is very similar and has some of the same notes such as rose, coriander, carnation, oakmoss and sandalwood giving it a divine spicy, woody and dramatic retro vibe. In my search I found that Diva is one of the best, most affordable alternatives and is available on Amazon for around $30. Such a steal in today's perfume marketplace. So, I received the beautifully packaged Diva and when I sprayed my wrist, I knew instantly that this would become my new 'signature perfume'! Today while at the market, a lady standing next to me commented on how good I smelled. After thanking her and telling her what I was wearing, she told me she had noticed it only when getting pretty close to me and that it just drifted in the air, not strong or 'gagging' just nice and noticeable. I knew that I would have to write a review to share my great find with other ladies searching for a new fragrance. I hope you love it as much as I do.

This perfume is truly a work of art. It’s commanding and yet soft. Absolutely a bewitching fragrance in a gorgeous bottle. The seller is great in providing fast and safe shipping.

I have waited a long time to review this perfume because I believe that is what you should do to get the feel and aura of the perfume in question. Perfume is also a very personal accessory and is very different on everyone. When I opened this 'blind buy' and smelled it just out of the bottle, I was totally ready to return it! I have gotten blind buys before due to reviews and in depth investigations of my own and have only returned one immediately after resisting the urge to dump it down the sink! As a budding perfumista, I know you MUST consider every angle of the scent along with your own chemistry! As I lightly applied this heavily sillaged perfume, I began to find it mysteriously interesting and different. I found that it was a perfect cold weather scent! As I grew to love it, and the weather warmed up, I found I still loved it!! In warm weather, it's scent was like smoked citrus, light and alluring. If you're curious, GO EASY with the spritzs and give it a try. You're going to be amazed, or not??!!!

Diva has been my fragrance of choice since the early 80's then stores stopped carrying Ungaro or some of Yves St Laurent fragrances. Found Diva being sold by Avon at one point. Nonetheless, this fragrance is mature and remains with you all day and into the night. I was 32 when I discovered the fragrance, I will be 74 in December. A little bit goes a long way.

This is my second bottle. I'm sure I either wore or smelled this when it was launched in 1983. I was in college and upped my game with this. It's rich smelling and created by a master Jacques Polge for the house of Ungaro. This was Ungaro's first perfume dedicated to women. The name Diva means "Goddess" and it is centered around rose. However, the composition is so exquisitely blended it is difficult to pick out the rose itself. It is a beautiful masterpiece. This is deep, rich, timeless and gorgeous perfume and lasts all day.

Smells nothing like the description. It is suppose to be comparable/alternative for Fendi. Carries more sweet notes with floral/rose.

I really like the scent, but it needs to last longer. I get compliments when I wear it. Inexpensive as perfumes go, so it's okay.
