A pair of incredible action-adventure extravaganzas from the legendary Jackie Chan, Project A and Project A Part II make their long overdue debut on Blu-ray in the UK from stunning 2K restorations. Starring three of the greatest martial-arts action stars of all time (Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao), the Project A films blended unparalleled martial artistry, death defying stunts and physical comedy in a way that has yet to be matched. Project A Jackie plays Sergeant Dragon Ma, a turn-of-the-century coastguard, hot on the trail of a ruthless band of cut-throat pirates, intent on spreading a trail of blood and mayhem across the South China Seas. Project A features some of the most dangerous stunts of Jackie s career, including homages to Buster Keaton s Steamboat Bill, Jr. and Harold Lloyd s Safety Last!. Project A Part II After the events of the first film, Dragon Ma is given a new assignment, to clean up crime and corruption in the roughest part of town. The pressure was on to top the first film in terms of sheer spectacle, but Project A Part II rises to the challenge and delivers one of the most stunt-packed, rip-roaring action-adventures of all time. Great fun to watch
If you want a great film for stunts this should be on your list, some really solid action scenes. Story is so so but thats not the point of these films.

Classic Jackie Chan.
Classic Jackie Chan in the golden era of kung fu films, I compared this version to the 4K release, IMHO it is not worth upgrading to the 4K, diminishing returns the image is slight better, as for the Dolby Atmos it is worse than the DTS-HD surround on the Blu-ray, I recommend the Blu-ray all day long.

Jackie Chan at his best must own classic
I have seen these films before back in the 80s I loved them then and still love em now. Great action comedy a lot better than most of the action films Hollywood are putting out.jackie chan at his best the fight and stunt scenes are amazing. Thank you eureka for restoring these classics Picture quality and sound are perfect much better than the vhs copy I watched back in the day.well put together a lot better than the versions I’ve seen by other companies. I like the fact I can watch it in Cantonese with English subtitles or I can watch it English dubbed just how I remember it when I saw it years ago. Also bought police Story 1 and 2 by eureka I’ll be watching them soon.hope eureka bring out versions of armour of god 1 and 2 and dragons forever.please eureka thanks.

Jackie Chan never look so good.
A re-issued Project A and Project A part 2 with original language and an English dubbed language tracked, this is well worth the price and films are great although looking a bit dated but that’s just the filming style the story does holds up and is better that some of the modern films to date.

Great release
Awesome boxset and awesome picture quality. Some great stunt work from Jackie in both movies. The first of course starring the three dragons. Tons of extras also on the discs but most are taken from older hkl releases. But great release

Great movies, quite interesting bonus materials (even though I would have preferred more behind-the-scenes, outtakes, or no-good scenes). However, what makes me lower my rating for this edition is the rather poor overall package. I'm ready to pay little bit higher price, they could at least include a booklet or a poster. I’m aware of the “VIP special deluxe” editions, but their price and availability are very questionable.

The worst film I have ever seen

Another Jackie Chan must-see classic movie. This is easily the best home video presentation for both of these classic films to date. Contains the original Cantonese audio track (which is my preference), but I also appreciate the inclusion of alternate cuts and English dubs aswell. I also appreciate the extended blooper reel for Project A. For years I've always wondered why the original Hong Kong version ended with such a long freeze frame at the end. Now I know it's because some bloopers were simply cut out, and they just freeze framed until the song ended. :)

If you're purchasing BD-Rs then you should immediately learn the difference between discs from different regions. Region A (USA) BluRays will never have a circle on the bottom right of the front with a rating inside of it, especially an odd rating like 15+. That should be an obvious and immediate give away that this is a foreign disc. For people to give this flick a negative review bomb because of their own ignorance is just pathetic and encapsulates one of the biggest pet peeves I have with rating systems like Amazon. Stop weighing down a movie's quality rating because you can't be bothered to spend 10 seconds ensuring that you're buying a disc you can actually play. I live in the US so this won't play in my standalone BluRay player in my living room, but that's exactly why I bought an ASUS BDR drive for my PC and flashed its BIOS. $80 purchase and 5 minutes of work and I can watch all 3 regions as well as UHD 4K BDRs on my PC and back them up or demux them into flawlessly compressed HEVC rips on my SSD. Get with the times people. And next time, rate the quality of the movie--not your obvious lack of awareness and technical inability. Save yourself some public embarrassment, sheesh.

After decades of watching grainy versions on VHS, then DVD, it's amazing to finally see these movies in HD!
