**Q: My daughter is a kids size 9 your description says to go a size up is that right or should I get a size 9**
A: I find ballet shoes are always on the small size so although my daughter is size 4 I got a 5 and they fitted very snugly - These are material ballet shoes and I ended up also buying  Starlite Flexi pink split sole in a 5.5 and they are perfect. Hope this helps

A: Not sure. I am a adult size 3, and it says go up a size. I bought size 4. It may depend on what your daughter's normal shoe size is.

A: I am usually 6.5-7 and I bought size 8 which are a good fit. Suspect half size bigger may not be enough

A: I have not had to wash them yet but I would think best to put in the washer on a wool wash or even hand wash.
