Due to "spillages" in the office, we are banned from using mugs and needed a secure way of containing coffee/tea etc... and this seemed like it would do the job that I needed it to.The lid screws onto the body and seems to be completely leak-proof; the lid partially pops open on a press of a button but doesn't seem like it would be easy to open accidentally. There is a drinking spout which makes it simple to drink from and also potentially prevent bad spills.After making a hot coffee, the thermos kept it hot for roughly 4 hours and at a warm temperature for another 2-3 which was very impressive. Though, it's easy to not realise how hot your drink may be as you cannot feel the temperature from holding it, so take small sips first.As for cleaning, it's as simple as advertised.Overall, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend.- - - - -UPDATE - MARCH 2020: It's coming up to two months since I purchased this and I have been using this thermos mug EVERY single work day and am still very pleased with the results. The design is great, the mouthpiece is much more comfortable than drinking out of a hole - I love it. I bought 2 more the next day for use on car journeys.
