Very useful.
I usually use a Neewer PT-176S light when I need to illuminate fungi and flowers when photographing them. It is a good light that is dimmable through many settings. It is a great light although quite large and because of this I do not always carry it. I wanted something smaller yet practical enough to carry around in my camera bag. I saw this one being used on a YouTube video. I bought one and have found it very useful. It is compact and reliable with a good battery life. It is limited by the fact that there are limited brightness settings. Because of this it will not replace my Neewer but it is a very good light.

Future's Bright!
Great little light, very bright and easy to control. Once I finally figured out how to mount it to my Canon 4000d, was simple !! Great value for money and it is very portable, also fits onto my tripod for convenience 😀 battery life is also impressive! 5 stars 🌟

Best small vlogging light
Smallest LED vlogging light out there, variable brightness intensities, quick to charge via USB-C cable and the charge lasts for a long time. Perfect for a small YouTube set-up but especially for vlogging on the go, attached on top of your camera. Easy to adjust the brightness and surprisingly effective for how small it is.

Great camera light, not so great seller
I want to start by saying this little camera light is great! I purchased 2 to illuminate me for live video (one each side so no reflections in my glasses) and I was very happy. But one of them went faulty after a month so I contacted the seller/manufacturer (Ulanzi) who replied quickly saying they were arranging a replacement. Over 2 months later and they're now ignoring me. Contacted Amazon and they were fabulous as always! Refunded after a quick chat with a customer service guy (Mohamed). I still use my 2nd light and it's still going well. Just a shame about the failure (started strobing even when switched off).

Not sure
Sadly I was disappointed with this one! I think ULANZI is an excellent provider for mounts but this lasted 5 minutes! Light wouldn't turn off. Maybe I had banged it? I can't be sure so am not 100% on whether this will be a common issue but for certain I will state its fragile and not suitable for Bushcraft or serious camping trips! It was very bright and the setting power levels were very good. But not sure I would recommend...

Good, but faulty.....
Small. Easy to use. Buttons to increase/decrease light strength very good. Cold shoe mounting options. But... Developed a fault where it starts doing a strobe light on it's own even when turned off. Rating: 3 stars. Fault unfortunately is quite a huge one!

Early days but works as described

The Ulanzi VL49 LED light is a great small light for video and photography setups. It is compact and lightweight but still provides plenty of brightness for close range lighting. It works very well mounted on a camera or rig and helps improve lighting for videos, streaming, or content creation. The built in battery is convenient and lasts a good amount of time, and charging with USB is simple. I also like the cold shoe mounts on the sides which allow you to connect multiple lights if needed.
