Fits well, it will replace the old filter next month. I get about 10 cleanings of these outer filters using a blow off gun with the compressor before the filter material looses its structural integrity, just be sure to do it from the clean side to push out the dust off from the dirty side and do it outside on a windy day and stay up wind from the filter so you don't get covered in dirt. A super simple hack that will keep your inner filter much cleaner and make the outer filter work to its best capacity is to simply take painters tape and seal the 5 micron filter to the filtration housing. takes about five cents worth of tape and less than a minute to do but what a huge improvement in keeping the inner filter really clean. you will save lots of money and get better filtration.

These are a welcome alternative to the ~$80 Jet AFS-1000B OEM replacement filters. My filter unit is close to 25 years old and I've never replaced the inner filter as I've always had good luck blowing it out with compressed air. It started looking a bit worn so I ordered these. The fit was tight but they went in with gentle assistance from a rubber mallet. I look forward to seeing if they help clear the air in my fairly large 3-car home shop. I'm taking a star off because some of the description photos show a greenish color to the inner portion of the filter material - like my older Jet filter had, though they also show a photo of an all white version. There is no green material at all. At one time, the material color was supposed to represent a different type of material. It might not be important, and probably not at this price, but I have an issue with companies too lazy to post accurate description photos of their products. I happen to be a seller on Amazon and I know it is not difficult to update photos and accurately represent one's product.

They fit my older Rikon tightly, quality seems good, and they're cheaper. A good thing since Rikon 400 inner filters seemed to be available at the time and I have 3.

Works great for my Wen filter

I bought the WEN 3410 from the Blue home improvement store as I was given a gift card. I bought the 3410, installed it and noticed a gap around the sides and tops with the outer WEN filter installed. The fit of the interior filter was fine. I read one review that stated the outer filters from WEN fit loosely. Today, my POWERTEC 75040 5 Micron Outer Filter came in from Amazon so I decided I would see how it fits in the 3410. Can you believe it, these POWERTEC 75040 filters actually fit better than the outer filter that comes with the unit! With a horrible fit, I would be replacing the inner filter sooner rather than later! Attention WEN Quality Control; fix your outer filters, they don't fit! I will be buying POWERTEC filters for this unit going forward. The ones coming with the WEN are a waste of time and money.

These fit perfectly and when you check the internal micro filter there is no signs of dust which means this filter is doing it job.
