Review: Must read before you buy!!!!! - Just ordered my second True Flight Throwing Knife. This knife is amazing. I have used my first one quite extensively and wanted a second one for easier target practice (basically so that I don't have to walk back and forth after each throw). The balance is really great; balances on one finger at the point between the blade and handle without tipping. This gives the knife a good rotation while in flight. Basically, the knife will let you sink the blade into the target with great repitition at the same distance. I'm a beginner but I can land the blade into the target and make it stick at 10ft, 15ft. & 20ft. no problem. The blade is extremely durable. I have to sharpen mine now after all of its use but.... I have accidentally thrown my True Flight into some of the more cheaper knives I have while they were already in the target, and no damage done to the blade of the True Flight, while the others are pretty much useless now after the impact. Also, the knife feels great in the hand and is one solid construction from tip to tip, so you never have to worry about stuff flying off of the knife like I have had with some of the cheaper knives. Basically, this is a great knife and I am definately satisfied with my purchase. I really don't think I will be buying any other throwing knife, unless Coldsteel stops making the True Flight, but then I will be very dissappointed and probably never by anything from coldsteel ever again, jk. Great knife, great price!!!! (However, I wish Coldsteel could make a video devoted completely to the True Flight model so that we can see how much abuse the knife can take, which is alot so far from my experience!) If you need to learn how to throw a knife, just go to youtube and there is some kid's video about how to learn, very useful info and that's how I learned. I personally kept taking a step back from the target after every throw until I got to a distance of where I could sink the knife into the target and then came back to that point and kept throwing the knife until I got the hang of it and was able to sink the blade every time. Good Luck!!!! Update: Just a little update to my previous post. I just found out the bad way that carbon steel isn't waterproof. My knives were left out in the rain and the next morning had some rust on them. But it isn't anything a grinder or knife sharpener can't take off. Also, make sure you don't throw one true flight knife into another true flight knife. I stuck one knife into the wooden target I built and then threw the second knife I had into the same region on the board. There was a loud clank and both of my knives are now damaged. What happened was the knife I was throwing hit the handle of the knife that was in the board already and cut the paracord off, dented the handle and dented the blade. I fixed the blade by sharpening it again, got it razor sharp this time. But the handle on the other knife has no grip now; although I must say that I think the knife handles better now and I actually prefer it that way because I now get better spin control. But yeah, there's the heads up for ya. If you throw two or more true flight knives, aim for opposite corners of the board. If you only have one, then don't worry about it. Like I said before, the true flight breaks any of the other knives I've thrown it into with pretty much no damage to itself.
Review: Our favorite thrower—excellent value and versatile - Great knife. Excellent value for the price. It includes a quality sheath and paracord wrapped handle. You can also baton wood with it. Great for beginners. My sons are teenagers learning how to throw knives and this one is their favorite. They use it every day and it is holding up well. Super durable, no chips. It's also beautiful with its black matte finish and shows no signs of rust or tarnish. The size and weight are ideal. They love it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy it! Just buy it NOW! YOU'LL LOVE IT!
*by S***R on July 5, 2016*

I'm loving this knife. I've been throwing knives ever since I was a kid and saw the mountain man/trapper types throwing knives and hawks at Fort Michilimackinaw when the Voyagers paddled up. This is a great thrower, it is heavy and well-balanced. Sticks deep and throws really well. I like the sheath too, it isn't anything amazing, but I feel like it is better than what I thought I was going to get for the low price of $17.99. This knife is made of 1055 carbon steel and it's good stuff. If you doubt that statement then go look up a classic Estwing leather washer hatchet....same exact steel. And there are no shortage of men out there who will jump to bouch for that tool, myself included. This knife is awesome, just get it and you'll love it. I would not consider it a "survival" knife or a bushcrafting knife or anything like that, but if it is all you had in a pinch it would do better than expected. It is sharp and heavy so it will chop and the blade geometry would allow for batoning all day without issue. The only reasons I would not suggest it as a survival knife is that it is too heavy and unweildy for intricate carving and the paracord wrapped grip would get uncomfortable really fast if you were peeling poles for shelters or shoe-skis. Otherwise the heft, shape and quality of the blade is good. I just got this knife to be a beater thrower but I'm rapidly finding myself carrying it around on my belt in the yard and while my daughter and I are backyard camping. This is a really good fighter. It is long enough to reach all vital organs, sharp enough to sever arteries and a heavy enough chopper to probably hack off a hand or maybe even a foot. Not my number 1 choice for a fighter, but you will feel confident enough with this blade in your hand should someone come looking to make trouble with you. I was going to buy 2 more but overnight the price jumped to 21.99. I am starting to worry that amazon is playing stupid games with pricing based on our interests and buying habits so screw amazon. If I can buy this again at 17.99 or less I'll get more. But this is a good knife and sheath for under $20. Even if I paid $25 for it I would have been happy. I just want to get more at the original price. Get one, you're gonna like this beast!
