Review: Gorgeous, Well constructed, solid wood, fair price, good gel mattress..easy video assembly - What a great Murphy bed! Saw this chest bed originally in Naples FL in a bed store. Was overpriced. Found it on desertcart prime with free shipping. This "chest type bed" is perfect- it is the focal point of the room, yet does not take up much space. Perfect for an occasional guest! The room is now available for office/etc. and doesn't need to be a dedicated guest room. My chest bed "must haves" were all met: solid wood, strong reinforced corners (in case a guest sits on the edge of the bed-it won't break); contemporary color choices and design; great reviews on video assembly instructions. Delivery person very accommodating. After our assembly, we tried the gel mattress and found it to be very comfortable. We are Thrilled with this purchase...highly recommend !
Review: It's high quality which is why it costs more than others. - Actually it really did need four of us to put it together correctly without hurting anything on it, but that's because it is a heavy very durable piece of nice furniture, but it is vey easy for one person to pull the bed out when using it. After leaving the mattress overnight to expand it was very comfortable. So far, without having used it to sleep on overnight yet, we are very happy with it. UPDATE: My friend came to stay with us and she loved it. I was nervous because she’s a mattress snob and yet she said she slept great on it! 😅

A: It is made from Rubberwood. It is a hard wood

**Q: How deep is this from front to back when closed and latched?**
A: Will this unit be on sale black Friday?

This furniture was easy to put together and the bed is so comfortable. I also have to thank the company for getting involved in a sticky shipping situation I had and making sure I got this Murphy bed the day it was scheduled. Overall, fabulous company and fabulous piece of furniture!
