I ordered these towels and a set of the microfiber towels for the gym to try both out and see which I like best. My first impression was disappointment when they sent me an e-mail giving specific wash/dry instructions that would mean I can't dry on high heat, use fabric softener, etc. That was not in the description that I remembered and I don't have time to baby my gym towels - I just want to wash and dry with everything else. I sent them an e-mail back with my disappointment with those instructions. They replied very quickly and stated I could dry them on high heat and use fabric softener. Once received, I'm really pleased with these towels. They are so much nicer than the microfiber towels. They are absorbent and soft and they wash and dry completely fine with everything else. I've washed them many times and there's no fraying or pilling. They are long so perfect for any workout. They are especially awesome for spinning where you can wrap it around your neck and still have room on the ends to wipe your face. Love these towels and plan to order more (and get rid of the micro fiber ones). Thanks for a great product! Updated: have been using these towels regularly for over two years now and they are holding up really well. No wear showing despite the fact that I don’t baby them in the laundry and I use and wash each of them a couple times a week. Still my favorite towels and just ordered a couple more.

This is the 2nd time I’ve bought this 2 pack. After buying all kinds of towels and even stealing some from my gym I’ve finally found the perfect workout towel. I bike indoors a lot and that gets very sweaty, and every towel I’ve used irritates my skin. After a hard workout I find my face is red and rubbed raw from wiping my face. I know they tell you to dab yourself with the towel but I’m a sweaty guy and dabbing my face doesn’t do jack. I got a set of these towels about a year ago and here I am a year later deciding to buy more because I like them so much I need to get rid of all my other towels and replace them with these. I never want to grab a different towel from my shelf than one of these towels, so I needed to buy more. I often can use them more than once (unless I’ve completely soaked them with sweaty goodness) and they dry very quickly. They are soft and fairly big and very absorbent. If you like to hit it hard in the gym, on the bike, on the treadmill, don’t even think about that Amazon Basics microfiber towel, get this one. Or better yet, get 10.

The towels are OK, after all they are towels, but they are nothing special as cooling towels (and they dry out too quickly for cooling at a ball game anyways). They also didn't come with the individual bags with carabiners. I also note that the amazon product page for these shows 40x12 and 44x16.5 (I thought I was getting the smaller), so I guess you get what you get.

Update; I re-ordered a second set of these excellent gym towels as the first set has performed better than expected; the seller got them to me in record time (order placement to delivery- one day). These are my ultimate fav gym towel and I will order more. First review still applies: I use these towels in the gym as a sweat and germ barrier on weight lifting benches and other equipment; their size is perfect for this use. I do not use them as a sweat towel on my body, but they are soft and will likely work well for that purpose. The towel size is also perfect for the gym bag, light weight, small size fits well into gym bag. The initial valuation of the quality is high and will hopefully stay high for at least 3-6 months. Excellent price for an excellent product.

This workout towel met my needs for length & softness - feels nice and easy to drape around my neck, but my earlier comments about insufficient absorbency were incorrect. I finally used it at a workout and it as absorbent as a chamois and big enough for me. In short, it was perfect and I will be ordering more.

These are the best gym towels, hands down! The length and absorbency of these towels make them perfect for taking to the gym. I use them on my yoga mats too and they're perfect.

I did a search for "Absorbent Sweat Towel" and purchased this 2 Pack. I Love it! The absorption is fantastic and the length and width are, in my opinion, excellent! I do a lot of home workouts (P90X, P90X2, P90X3, Insanity...). Most of the time I have the towel wrapped around the back of my neck and over both shoulders (works excellent this way; I can wipe the sweat from my forehead without removing the towel). On Yoga days (or any days I use the yoga mat) I place it in the center of my yoga mat running down the length but towards the front. The width of the towel allows me to place my hands on on the outsides of the towel and firmly on the mat (giving me the grip from the mat for poses like Downward Dog). The length is not too long allowing my feet (while in Plank Pose) to also retain the grip of the mat. With the towel placed in this fashion it catches my dripping sweat down the center and I never lose the grip of the mat due to my dripping sweat (once the mat is wet it becomes slick). While in any of the Warrior Poses or Chair Poses stepping on the towel doesn't impair my form what so ever. I purchased the 2 Pack so I still keep the 2nd towel around my neck and over my shoulders to 'wipe my face'. This is a fantastically designed Fitness Gym Towel.

Overall this is the type of towel I wanted but if feels super think and lacks the thickness to fully capture sweat. Bought these only for my Peloton Spin workout where I ride for at least 45 min up to several hrs and after a couple of use I feel there not gonna cut it. They are probably fine for those who lift a few pounds, take 5 and move on to the next set.

These clothes are great for hot yoga. They don't hold moisture there light and work Great for stretching!

I've been using these towels daily for 6 months now at the gym and with 6 months of mopping my brow and washing them they are still like new. Very happy and would buy again but don't need to yet

not smearing the sweat around Absorbent!! Hangs nicely around my neck, or on the cardio machines.. did I mention Absorbent!!
