I bought it for my tailgating but will use as TV sound in my man cave! Sound is a bit boxy but not bad at all. Not bad enough for me to move down to 4 stars...and I like my sound! The LED are really cool. I like this unit a lot better than the Samsung Giga! The sound is better IMO and the features are are simple to control. The Sony app that allows you to control everything with this system eliminates the need for an additional remote control (AMAZING!!!) I also like the ability to keep one LED color (not sure if the Giga can but it didnt when I tested). Great system and of course it was boxed for shipping with no issue's. Nothing much else to say about it! Review: Sony Shake 33 - To start off this thing is a very nice system. It can produce house shaking bass and is loud enough that the vocals can be heard from any where in your house and around your house. They did a very nice job with the lights on the receiver and the speakers. with all of the different light modes and colors you can practically see the beat of the music. The entire system very user friendly and I would recommend it to everone. However there were some things that could have been better. My biggest issue with it is the bass. Any bass above 35hz is so loud that it can hurt your ears. But when the bass drops below 35hz it can barley be heard even at a high volume. Another thing is the overall volume. I don't really know if the receiver is pushing out the full 2200 watts that it claims but it doesn't sound as loud as I expected. The speakers themselves seem like they could handle even more power than what the receiver is putting out so I'm pretty sure it's not at a full 2200w. The bass is really loud but the volume lacks expectations when it come to the treble.
