Great tone
The tone is crystal clear, great high end tone.

Great mic at a decent price
I've used the M80 for both vocals and acoustic guitar and it is by far one of my favorite mics. One of the vocalists said after using it that that was the first time she'd ever gone home from a gig and didn't feel a little hoarse. I could tell from the mix position that the vocalists felt a lot more comfortable in front of them. The quality of the mic gave them that extra bit of confidence to sing exceptionally. For the acoustic guitar I tested a number of mics including the Audix OM6 and the Shure SM57 and this one beat both of those. It had great presence and a nice round bass response without being over-bearing at all.

Good, but I don’t love the clip
Awesome microphone, but the mic clip disappoints.

Solid build with clean, clear sound
Comparing with my Shure Super 55, the sound is brighter with more detailed in the mids, less pronounced proximity effect and slightly less output (had to gain it up about 20% from the Shure). Good weight in your hand. Not as glamorous as the Shure, quickly becoming my preferred tool.
