No one's hair is this color, except gold statues. It is like the flocking for Christmas trees in the light blond. I will say, it covers your scalp a lot so if you're covering thinning hair that would help with that. I worked out with it on as a test even though the color was a bust, and it stuck around for the most part--I sweat a lot, so I pushed it. Some of it was gone, I didn't find it on my shirt, must have swiped it with my hand. But it didn't drip down my face, like Giuliani's hair drip fiasco, so that's a plus. I think it works for dark colors, or real hair colors, and then it's a value for money. Gold--faker than Barbi, does not. It makes your scalp sparky/gold/shiny so that's drawing attention to where you don't want it. For blonds, the powders might be better, and not gold.

If I could give it NO STAR I would!!! The one advertised for blondes with dark roots DOES NOT WORK!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY It does not cover dark roots it just yellows the blond around it. Horrible! I tried to return it as defected cause it don't work but YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. GARBAGE!!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT because it clearly say on it that it is for blondes wanting to cover dark roots. I dont blame Amazon I blame L'Oreal

What a great product! I cannot “bleach” my dark roots right now, so I thought I’d give this root cover-up spray a try. Guess What?!? It worked just like magic…my dark roots looked almost exactly the same as my “summer blonde” colored hair! What a great product…really. Lifesaver if you just don’t have the time to touch up those roots before an event! Thanks. Amazon!

Ok don’t get my wrong, this changes the color of your hair for sure. I haven’t been in the salon in far too long and I needed a touch up for an event. It made my roots less noticeable but definitely not 100% cohesive. My biggest complaint is the brassiness. It turned any parts of my hair that are colored orange. So just be careful when spraying! For a quick fix it does the job. Just don’t expect a miracle.

I have dark roots and a little grey. This is the only temporary spray that will help your brown hair blend in with highlights - in between colorings!

Great for bleach blonde or even mix light to med brown hilights, covers thin areas as well as great root touch up. Be Sure to shake the can well before using because I forgot once and the color was really dark but otherwise it's really great! wish the can lasted longer is all. The color doesn't last super long but it's a great touch up

I’ve used this less than a handful of times. I have pretty light blond hair and dark blond roots. When I spray this on it just looks so grainy and kind of grayish or brassy depending on the light. It doesn’t look natural or it just doesn’t cover well. I really don’t like the look at all. It also tends to spray my scalp so you can see all of the brassy color on my scalp. In this picture i used it then a-tipped my scalp to take out the brassy color then brushed my hair. It basically still looks like I have all my roots dark. I wouldn’t recommend this product for blond hair.

Since Covid 19 have been unable to get blond highlights. Been debating about doing my own highlights until I tried this product. The best! I had mixed dark and lighter roots growing in. I sprayed this on as per directions and I think it looks great! Sprayed it on top and the sides. You don't even know you have it on. Not sticky, total natural. I used the light blond. Totally recommend this product to get by until I can get professional highlights. Not expensive and amazing what it does!

I absolutely do not recommend. The color doesn't cover dark roots at all. In addition, after washing the hair, the product leaves a greasy feeling in the hair.

The color described is not what I expected. As a color test, i sprayed some of the product on a white cloth. Came out orangey . Convincing enough to not spray on my white roots

Finally, a cover for gray without being a honey blonde. Good for cool blond colours.

I tried to cover my roots with this color because I have a light hair color but seems didn't do much and it's messy too won't purchase again
