Amazon Basics 5-Way Multi Headphone Splitter, Lime Green, 5-Pack

I have a set of Logitech 5.1 surround sound computer speakers from the early 2000s that still work great for me. I wanted a cheap way to keep using these speakers with out having to have my computer on for when I just felt like listening to music. So I bought this audio splitter, plugged each speaker into each of the ports, and then plugged in the longer detachable audio cable to my tablet that has all my music stored on it. It works and sounds great. Even the subwoofer works. Not sure if mine is defective or I am misunderstanding something, but I had to attach the longer audio cable it came with for it to connect properly to my tablet. It did not work with the one that is already attached (and unable to be detached), even though in the photos it shows it connecting that way. Was not an issue for me because the speakers only use up 3 of the ports.

Had this for years now and it still works great. Use it in the studio weekly to split headphones to multiple people. I don't know if this was on purpose or a manufacturing defect that just worked out nicely, but the 5 slots are not all identical. Some seem slightly bigger/looser, some seem slightly tighter, and for whatever reason that helps them fit some headphone jacks better than others from slot to slot because headphone wires are not all uniform either. If a headphone jack doesn't work well in one, move it to the other and it clicks in nicely and works great, meanwhile the first one works better for other cables! So random but turns out to be super useful.

First of all, this item looks great, and easy to find among all the equipment around. I use it to watch movies with my wife on a single laptop with headphones. That said, the connection breaks in about 3 months of daily usage. Considering the low price, just replace it when that happens.

Awesome tech to have 5 persons listening in the same device. The sound quality remains nothing but the best and the size is just perfect to even fit in your pocket.

With this 5 multi Amazon basic speaker plug-in I’m able to put my two Doss speakers that you first see light up, my two Polk SB2s that I actually bought for my SB1 Home Theater Plus System because it has a Great Woofer that goes with the Sound Bar and I like it because it doesn’t just have volume for sound and woofer but it has a listen button to hear the voice much clearly. But when I l let my Echo Dot that the 5 way headphones connection I let Alexa kick out the Jams!!!! And lights up my room which I had all this in the 70s I have another sound system you can see the bass lighting up in between my Polk Speakers, don’t even remember the name of it but I Love it. The two speakers that go with it works once in awhile and I have to turn down my Polk Speakers to hear it but they still Jam and sound Great together. I’m going to get one more 5 way adapter to see if I can hook up my SB1 plus System and everyone hears probably hates me but I have Parkinson’s and go into days with bad depression and I don’t listen or watch anything during that time so it’s not like they have to deal with it every day like I do with them talking so loud in the room next to me and bump into my wall knocking off my paintings I’ve done of Hendrix, George Harrison, John Mayall and Studebaker John . I like Harmonicas wailing with the Blues. I just picked up the 2nd Doss portable speaker because I finally read the instructions after about the year I’ve had the one and found out you can add to another which is cool to. They are sounding Great together I just have to change the lights on them easier and the newer one I just got shows two different colors at the same time my first one doesn’t do that but it’s lights are flashing faster like they know they’re kicking out the Jams!!!!!

I was wondering how I could use both wired speakers AND bluetooth speakers (in a wired fashion) on the Mac without coming across latency issues. The Mac is capable of playing both aforementioned speakers at the same time through the Audio MIDI app, but no matter what happens, there is ALWAYS a latency issue, where both types of speakers never play at the same time.... And so, this 5-way Audio Splitter did the job with no issues! After switching the Bluetooth speakers into a "Wired" mode, and hooking them in via new 3.5mm headphone cables, the music has been working with absolutely no latency issues! There is no volume control on this, which is fine, given its price. If you are looking for something that has volume control, you may be better off getting a small mixer to do the job. Aside from that, this works exactly as advertised.

So, I got two of these, one to use as audio splitter and one as a bootleg combiner for mics. I was expecting it not to work, but it can handle signals in both directions (all be it with a slight DB loss). Im not saying this is the best solution for that, but its a lot cheaper then an audio mixer or the combiners you can find otherwise. I am also converting this over a USB sound card and using phantom power from two condenser mics, so it will introduce a small amount of background noise but its not very noticeable. It cant handle two way signals, so you can not hook in the mic and audio jack at once, but it will work one way, either combining 5 or outputting them.

Works well enough, does it's job. Or, rather, it did at one point. Worked well at first, sound quality wasn't that bad at first, but then after a few months with it, it started to have this really bad ringing sound in the background of music, game sounds, etc. I have since stopped using it but it was good when it didn't ring.

Sólo puedo decir maravillas de este producto. Te saca de más de un apuro si necesitas más añadir varios conectores jack de 3.5mm a una sola toma. El material es excelente y le saca los colores a otras marcas de reconocido prestigio mucho más caras haciendo exactamente la misma función pero a un tercio de su precio. La calidad es muy buena compraré más unidades tanto para regalar a familiares que lo necesitan como para mi mismo. Súper recomendable. Como siempre 5 Estrellas para Amazon y su línea Basics.

Soluciona problemas de conexion,todo en un solo dispositivo,me encanto

No tiene ninguna interferencia ni perdida de sonido...en resumen una gran comprá.
