It's a Genuine WELLER! That says it all.
Yes these are expensive tips but they last for many years IF cared for right. Accept no substitutes because this tip uses magnetic force to open and close the heater switch for heat accuracy. Yes, you can buy cheaper but you will burn out your heating assembly! 45 years of experience with Weller irons.
