Think you can swish your tamper around in the container without touching the blades? Been doing it for years without any trouble and believe those Vitamix fools cannot possibly understand your blender intuition? This piece will indiscreetly replace your tamper when you blow out the end into your smoothie while your past lives flash before your eyes. What it won’t do is scrub smoothie off your cabinet doors.

Accidentally broke my vitamin stick thing and bought another one while throwing away the one I broke. No one knew. It's also a pretty good price too, but just remember to never use the pushy thing without the safety guard.

Necessary for thicker blends. My original was damaged due to my stupidity, otherwise it would have lasted my lifetime. Heavy duty plastic that is easy to clean by hand or dishwasher. When I bought this here, it was cheaper than trying to buy directly from Vitamix, so I appreciated saving money.

Works and fits the 32 oz wet & dry containers. Price seems out of line for a piece of plastic ;-) No way to judge durability except by purposely trying to damage it. It's probably fine. I'm still using a 64 oz container and tamper that belonged to my grandmother about 1976 and it's survived drops and multiple moves to other homes (although the top part of the lid went missing!).

It's simply not possible to use the tamper that came with the 64 ounce pitcher when using a smaller pitcher - I know - I shredded one trying! :-) The original tamper is starting to decay a bit after 10 years of almost daily use - bought this one as a refresh.

Wish I would have thought to look for a replacement four years ago. So pleased with this affordable replacement for my blender.

I use my Vitamix every day and eventually destroyed the tamper. So happy I was able to find the part, it feels like I got new blender again!
