Dishwasher Mounting Brackets

I found these mounting brackets after searching through Google. I did not want to drill into our new cabinets so I took the plunge and went for these. Since they are cheap it wasn't a big deal if they didn't work. I followed their directions cleaned under the Granite with some rubbing alcohol clamped them on for about 4 hours. Screwed in the dishwasher to them and voila, no more plates wanting to roll out of our dishwasher and smash the island. So far I have had them for a month and no problems or any signs of releasing from the granite. Wife is happy which makes me happy :) Great product and would buy again. ***Update**** Well this morning one side came unstuck and the screw fell out of the other. What my guess happened is the vibration loosened the screw and then after not noticing it, there was too much pressure on the other side and it became unstuck. It has been about 6 months or so of use, for the price it's probably too soon of failure. I do believe it was our fault though because we didn't see/fix the one side missing the screw. We have ordered a new set. **13 NOV 2012** Received the new order and replaced one of the grabbers. I made sure to clean the area that it was going to attach to thoroughly so hopefully it won't pull off in such short of time.

Works as expected. New house dishwasher wasn't mounted to counters, this was a quick fix and is holding up fine. Make sure you follow instructions and prep surface and clamp for five minutes, then cure for 24 hours

I bought these Granite Grabbers with the hope that they would securely hold my dishwasher in place under my granite countertop—just like the product claimed. I followed every step in the instructions: cleaned the surface, positioned everything properly, pressed firmly, clamped for 5 minutes, and waited the 2–3 hours for the adhesive to bond. Unfortunately, these brackets were a complete letdown. As you can see in the attached photo, the adhesive failed miserably. The brackets didn’t hold and completely lost their shape trying to stay in place. There was nothing “secure” or “lasting” about this solution. This was a total waste of money and time. I genuinely regret purchasing this product and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable dishwasher mounting solution. Save yourself the frustration and try something more durable.

Works good, I had to use Gorilla glue epoxy on one to get it to stay put, however now that both have cured the dishwasher is solidly held in place. Overall I like the design, would be nice if the small screws had Loctite to keep those from coming loose, its easy to mark the locations on the granite and the remove the strip to fasten the two plates after that simply screw the top mounts to the brackets and you are good to go. If you make sure the top brackets on your dishwasher are firmly against the plates it will help hold the plates in place to allow for the glue to dry properly and achieve its hold, I had to use a C-Clamp on one of mine since the plate wanted to bend downwards slightly which ruined the included mounting strips hold. In any case they are not expensive and if the included strip doesn't hold you can use 3rd party epoxy to get the desired result. I docked one star since I had to use my own glue however these are great and work well for what they are intended.

I got these brackets after getting new countertops. I originally planned on using the bracket that screws directly into the cabinet frame, but after installing that style I noticed it forced my dishwasher to sit at an angle. With these Granite Grabbers brackets I was able to get my dishwasher to sit at the proper depth and no longer at an angle. So far they have held up well and show no signs of the adhesive failing. They were also very easy to install - I made sure the surface was properly cleaned, stuck them in place and screwed the dishwasher in place using the provided screws. I recommend these for ease of use.

I had my dishwasher in place but never connected to our 2 year old counter tops in fear they would Crack when drilled. I hated my dishwasher because my bottom rack always fell off the track with its little rollers. I checked alignment when i would open my DW and never noticed any noticeable movement so dissmissed the thought. One afternoon I started researching how to attach the dishwasher to a quarts counter top without cracking it and stumbled across these clips. I figured what the heck I'll give it a try... Wow who would think something so small could change your life. I know it seems pretty dramatic but everytime my kids my wife our I pulled out the bottom rack it would fall down and cause frustration anger and hate for our dishwasher. Again, I know it seems dramatic but it really did drive us crazy... I ordered these clips. Got them 2 days later. I got my level, marked the location pulled off the red tape and held them in place with cosmos over night. Just to make sure and thought any improvement would be great considering the cost. It seemed fine. But I really wouldn't know until the dishes were full. I actually forgot about them until I got this request to review them by Amazon. Oh my goodness they are Great and work so well. I have had them installed for 2 months now and my rack no longer falls and my family no longer has this frustrating little stress added to our life. Great product, best purchase. Thank you...
