Side by side comparisons of each part, denoting the different generations? WOW!!! in and of itself warrants the purchasing of this book., This is one of, if not the absolute best Glock books ever!!! Very, Very Very well done!

If you own a Glock you need this book. It is an excellent reference book and will answer all your questions, including the changes made by new generations. Nice photos to show exactly what the author is explaining. It covers all calibers and even how to change the caliber on some models, such as changing a .40 to a .357 Sig in the same frame. Buy the book, you won't be sorry.

Informative but not the information I was looking for. Not enough info about when models were released and which gen they fall under

I think this book explains everything you ever wanted to know (and maybe more) about all glock models. It even gives you a link to get a pdf of the authors review on the new g43. I think this book is a great choice for someone who is a Glock enthusiast interested in learning more about the different models Glock offers. There are also great chapters on maintaining and function testing Glocks.

This reference guide was better than I expected. Their is detailed information about every GLOCK model, including the ones that aren't available in the U.S. and why. Sadly, the book went to print before the author could test the new G43, but their is a free PDF of an additional chapter covering the G43 available on the publisher's web site. The link is at the end of the book, and with the free PDF, this really is the complete guide to every GLOCK model ever produced. It even covers GLOCK's accessories (knives, entrenching tool, lights, holsters, etc.), maintenance, GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF), armorer's course, and suppressors. If you want to know everything there is about your GLOCK, and the GLOCKs you don't have yet, this is the perfect guide for you.

Most readable and interesting of the various "GLOCK" books on the market Manning points out in detail the inventiveness,ingenuity, and engineering that make Glocks the good and reliable defense tools they are.The photos comparing the parts of the pistol thru its 4 generations a boon to those who collect Glocks.I,ve told my fellow shooters and collectors of Glocks this the one book to own.

This Book should get Five stars for content however the supporting photos seem to be poor Black & White quality from another era. I notice that many Gun Digest Books suffer from this same problem. I call this lazy editing just cut and paste some old photos into the document. In many intances the author attempts to describe a particular part confguration that is unique to a specific generation of Glock. The photos references are so poor that in many cases I can not determine exactly what the referenced item is. How difficult would it have been to improve the quality of images used by including new clear images taken for this document and not just regergitate stock photos historical black & white images you happen to have! The technical content is great however the supporting images are insulting, and useless!

This is the single best reference on the history and comparisons between different generations, models, calibers and variations of Glock pistols. The photographs of key parts are excellent as well. It is well written, clear and comprehensive. I thought I knew a lot about Glocks but that was before I read Robb's book. If you are going to buy only one book about Glocks, this is the one to buy.
