One of our barn cats crawled up to us, extremely weak, and panting with her mouth open. Thick liquid was oozing out of her nose and she was coughing and struggling to breathe. We could pet her but she was not at all "handle able". I put on leather gloves and "armored up" so I wouldn't get clawed to shreds and gently held her by the scruff of her neck to give her the Vibactra via the included small syringe, four times a day. By the third day, she was showing marked improvement, eating eagerly again. (These barn cats are like dogs; always hungry and willing to eat anything you give them!) Antibiotics can PERMANENTLY change the flora in the digestive tract which is very bad. 80% of the immune system is in our gut (human and animal) so it's very important to have a healthy digestive tract. We rescued 2 dogs from a shelter; both had severe respiratory infections bordering on pneumonia. We only use natural products and used this along with colloidal silver and a bit of olive leaf extract in their food for 10-14 days. Both dogs were better within 24 hrs and started eating again. Animals tend not to eat when they can't smell things. Our vet told us he had 3 dogs come to him from a rescue who got the dogs at the same shelter.
