Is the 7mm for skateboards or is it the 8mm

Either of these would work for skateboards. It just depends what size your axle is. I use these on roller skates. Most newer skates are 8mm, but mine are older, and I still have to buy the 7mm bearings. Skateboards......I'm not as familiar with, but if you just measure the axle you can buy the appropriate size. I would use a digital caliper to measure them, but if you don't have one, you could always just grab a 7mm and 8mm wrench and whichever slides over the axle (with no gap) is the size you need.

Do these fit 7mm or 8mm axles?

608's are 8mm.627's are 7mm.These bearings are the best that you can buy for the money. All the moderate competition folks at the rink use them. I have them in my skates, and so does my son.

I have Bones Elite 62mm, 101A wheels on my skates. Will these bearings fit?
