It was easy to use once you got the hang of it, consistent cast, and it was also affordable and worked so I would most definitely recommend this item! It tore a little when caught on a rock (which is my fault) but was also easy to fix using fishing line.

Very poor design. The way the weights are tied to the edge of the net allow them to slip through the netting and this results in tangles galore. I was out for just over an hour trying out the net and I would say I spent 45 minutes dealing with the tangles. To make it worse if you are not very careful getting the weights untangled/out of the net the net ends up tearing/breaking leaving you with holes in your net. Live and learn. Look for a net where the weights are secured to the outer string and are bigger than the holes of the netting. I would not recommend this casting net.

Nice low price, and it does work. But after a few times using it the string holding the weights started coming apart. So I had to re-tie a bunch of that. Then the yoke came apart. I was able to get it snapped back together before the net came apart. I’ve had to repair many holes. Most from small snags, but if you catch anything bigger than a pound or so it will start tearing its way through the net because the webbing is very weak. I’m still using it, but I’m constantly repairing holes. And the weights are not zinc. They are steel with a very light coating of zinc. Starting to rust already

My grandson is having a blast with this net! We got it for him to use at the lake where we camp. He just wanted to try something besides fishing with a pole. He struggled a little learning how to throw it, but had fun trying. After a while, he got pretty good at it! And imagine his surprise when he caught a big ol fish! OK, it was a dogfish, but he didn’t care. He was still so excited! Im very impressed with the quality. A few times we had to pull pretty hard to get it untangled from some branches, but it never tore! And for the price, if it did, we could afford to get another one. Which we’ll probably do when his younger brother gets a little older!

Ordered this and it didn't come with the shrimp pod.Told to return and re-odrer. I did and 2nd time came without shrimp pod again and yes it clearly states its included.

Product is good but the service was not good.

I probably should’ve read the description a little better. It is way too small to be of any use. The fish see it coming and scatter instantly so far I’ve caught zero fish with it.
