G-Tube Holder

This has been a life saver! Recently had a G Tube put in and this has made it so much more comfortable against my tummy! Thank you to the nurse who suggested it while in the hospital. 😁

If you find yourself needing a g tube, you will find it helpful. The first time your g tube gets pulled, because it got caught on something, you will wish you had this. I am recovering from throat cancer and every doctor that has seen this has made a positive comment about it. I thank God all the time the cancer is gone, and now I am recovering from the radiation. I pray that whoever is in the market for this has a quick recovery. It is starting to show signs of ware after about 7 months but this is to be expected and doesn’t affect my view of the product.

Unlike other PEG holders/belts this has an upper seam Velcro closure. Useful though irritating to skin.

It holds peg in place but rubs on skin and can be uncomfortable. For feeding it’s not practical as you have to pry the Velcro open under your shirt to access the peg. I prefer a fitted camisole, more comfortable, breathable, easy access to peg.

This belt is very uncomfortable. I am unable to wear it. The belt is way too narrow, it should be at least 4 inches wide. It should be made of an elastic type material. It should be able to give as you move. Now it is either too loose or too tight. Can't adjust it to fit as I move. The velcro around the pouch is too strong. It takes a lot of pull to open it and the edges of the pouch are too stiff. I now us an ACE bandage wrap the works perfectly.

I had never heard of this product until it was my turn to be diagnosed with stomach cancer and I had a J port installed. This provides me with the protection for the tube and the entry point into my system when I am having to go out for shopping, or to doctor visits. I ordered the medium size, but did not know the best has very little stretch. It works, but is a little tight. I have since ordered 2 large and they do the job.

Uncomfortable to me. Wish it was more comfortable because it fits the tube setup nicely.

Not a great time in my life, having a feeding tube, but going through chemo and radiation made it necessary. By using the Tube Holder Belt it more securely holds it in place and makes it more comfortable. It also hides it under your shirt in a nice way. Would order again !

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas aussi une ouverture en bas. Mais la taille est ajustable, ce qui est très bien.
