Germany 1944: 15-year old Leyna (Amandla Stenberg), daughter of a white German mother and a black father, lives in fear due to the colour of her skin. When she meets Lutz (George MacKay), the son of a prominent SS officer and a member of the Hitler Youth - mandatory for all Aryan boys since 1936 - the two fall helplessly in love, putting both their lives at risk.

Review: Really? Cant watch video…… - This video cannot be played there wasn’t any info advising that it could not be played on a regular DVD player. Now that I have finally gotten it after 2 prior unsuccessful attempts I saw the disclaimer ( that was not in the description when I ordered it)and placed across the front of the dvd package. So apparently these videos are being returned because they too can’t play them. Although I have purchased an all region dvd it’s never been functional on my newer tv as it now needs a converter. I purchased the all region DVD player from desertcart as well.

I loved the movie. The only problem is that the DVD will not play on USA DVDs. I had to watch it on my desktop computer.

this was a very unique movie It will keep your attention a mother's love for her biracial daughter in a time where she would have been killed for falling for a white soldier please get the us version had a hard time watching it on my DVD people please check this out I promise you will love this movie.
