Germany 1944: 15-year old Leyna (Amandla Stenberg), daughter of a white German mother and a black father, lives in fear due to the colour of her skin. Now that I have finally gotten it after 2 prior unsuccessful attempts I saw the disclaimer ( that was not in the description when I ordered it)and placed across the front of the dvd package. So apparently these videos are being returned because they too can’t play them. Although I have purchased an all region dvd it’s never been functional on my newer tv as it now needs a converter. I purchased the all region DVD player from desertcart as well.

History of Blacks in German during Nazi Regime
I loved the movie. The only problem is that the DVD will not play on USA DVDs. I had to watch it on my desktop computer.

This video cannot be played there wasn’t any info advising that it could not be played on a regular DVD player. this was a very unique movie It will keep your attention a mother's love for her biracial daughter in a time where she would have been killed for falling for a white soldier please get the us version had a hard time watching it on my DVD people please check this out I promise you will love this movie.

Very good story and acting. But I had to watch it on my laptop as it was made for region 5( Eastern, Europe,Russia,India,Africa,North Korea and Mongolia). I live in U.S which is where it was delivered to.

Could not play it. I had no idea it would only play in Europe. A waste of money. I just opened it to show friends only to find it incompatible with American DVD player. So disappointed.

Beautiful story
I looked for this movie high and low for months. The story has been suppressed because of the statistics revealed at the end of the movie. The story needs to be both told and honored.

This DVD only plays in Europe , it would have been nice to be informed of that before ordering
It would be helpful if the post states that the viewing of this DVD is restricted alongside the actual product. It would save a lot of headaches.
