    When they say wide, they actually mean wide

I typically wear a size 8.5 or 9 regular, depending on how narrow the shoes are. My feet are a little wide, but not wide enough that I have to buy exclusively wide shoes. I first bought 8.5W, and they were too long for my feet, but really comfortable and well designed apart from that. So I exchanged them for a 8W and they fit perfectly! The design makes them stand out from your basic ballerina flat. I would definitely recommend them, but be willing to try a few sizes to find the right fit. It's great that their shoes are actually "wide" since it's so hard to find genuinely wide, comfortable shoes.

I typically wear a size 8, and based on other reviews, decided on an 8. When I first put them on, I thought I'd end up returning them - they were stiff and didn't seem like they'd break in easily. I decided to wear them around the house for a few minutes over the course of a couple days, and they actually did break in easily. After wearing them to work for the first time (wore them for about 8 hours), I didn't have any blisters or any redness at the back of my feet. I gave 4 stars because while they did break in, they aren't melt-to-your-feet comfortable. They are fine for what I will be wearing them for, but I don't know if they would be good if you are going to stand on your feet all day.
