Rust-Oleum 285093 Stops Rust Spray Paint, 12 oz, Matte Clear

My wife creates and paints a lot of statuary and yard art. This has been her go to sealer for many years. It’s very tolerant of different weather conditions, dries quickly even when the humidity is a bit higher than recommended and lasts for years on pieces that are left outside year round. The price for these was much better than anything we’ve ever found locally. One thing you should know…if you’re sealing a piece that has a satin or glossy look to it, go with the appropriate sealer. Spraying a matte sealer will dull the finish of anything that was glossier. Stick with Rustoleum. Every one of their sealers works great when used as directed.

I used this on my pot in the garden and they look really really good. It was very easy to use. And they have lost it really well.. And as you can see, I live in Florida where we have sunlight every single day and they are not fading. They look so so so good.

Good paint, decent price

Good stuff. Worked well on some rusty old "yard art" I had to stop it from staining my flagstones. Nice finish; looks natural. Rustoleum is always my go-to.

Just what I needed.

I use this to clear coat the paint jobs on my rifles. It makes the finish much more durable. They make expensive paint for guns, but I have found that I can use Rust-Oleum with a clear coat of this for a small fraction of the cost and I have yet to show any scratches.

Brand name quality. Good value for the money . Covers well and dries quickly. This is my go to paint for controlling outdoor patio furniture that needs a pick me up and refresh.
