Fixed RV Air Conditioner MYSELF
RV air conditioner stopped working suddenly. Read that these RV units rarely need re-charged, so decided to give this a shot. Got the part number/spec's stamped on the existing capacitor on rv roof unit. This $25 part EASILY installed saved the $150/hr burn ( + parts) from the crooks at the RV shop. I'm guessing I probably saved $500 + over what the RV shop would have charged...

Worked as it should.
I installed this in the rear roof air unit, which had stopped blowing cool air, on my 2005 Fleetwood Discovery motor home. Once installed, the A/C worked just as i t should. Very easy to install also.

Cheaper than diagnostics from RV service.
This was not my problem but it went in without a hitch. My unit was silent, no humming, nothing. Ended up being a bad terminal connection, at the control board under the cover and inside the exchanger box of the roof A/C unit on the RV. Simply moving the connector on its mating spade made it work. Argg! Light corrosion causing intermittent problem. Life in an RV. Replacing this item is relatively easy but involves dangerous heights and exposure to severe electric shock if done incorrectly. EXTREME caution needs to exercised when performing the task.
