Its sturdy and adorable
I wanted a small pot to make salves and this exceeded my expection. Its heavy for such a small thing, has a nice look and works perfectly for what I need it for. Really love it.

Trust your instincts.
This is not a 5" lid. And the package is not 3.5x3.5x1.38. This lid fits a 3.5" Winco Sauce pan. The outer diameter is 4.125 to the edge of the rim. The part of the lid that fits down into the pan measures 3.500" Other than that, this seems like a well made lid. Amazon - Please get you information correct and tell your representatives to do a better job at providing information to the customers. The representative I chatted with assured me this was a 5" lid.
