Funnel for Resin & Mineral Tanks - 2.5-inch x 10-inch

Really nice size and good quality. I use this as a semi-permanent piece beneath the sandblasting cabinet to transfer media to containers so I can change sandblasting grits. It used to be such a messy procedure, but this thing makes it a dream. I place a large storage jar beneath the funnel, open the cabinet plug and brush all the media out. This funnel catches it all and keeps it nicely contained on its way into the jar. Turns a chore in the shop into a much faster process.

High quality XL funnel with thick gauge yet flexible plastic. Pay attention to the spout/outlet diameter here: it’s 2.5”. I’m using this to funnel powdered water soluble plant fertilizer into one of those hose-end garden sprayers. Was tired of spilling it all over the place. Works great. Price is fair.

Works perfectly. Fits exactly in the tank top hole and seems to be just the right size. Its big enough to catch all the media from the scoop but not so big as to unbalance and fall over and spill. It doesn't have an anchor to the tank so I do actually hold the funnel with one hand while pouring from a scoop. It does seem to be designed perfectly for the task it was meant to perform. The shape and size are just right. Its not made of really heavy duty plastic and might not stand up to really rough use but I've been using mine for about 17 months. Its still in perfect working order and condition. If I ever break or lose this one I will absolutely purchase another. It really is a super useful product. It ain't flashy but it REALLY helps do the job of tank filling. FIVE STARS all the way !!!

Does the trick! Highly recommend if you plan on rebedding your water softener mineral tank! The wide funnel allows safe and mess free installation of the ingredients required to refill the mineral tank.

This one is pretty simple. If you have a General Ionics softener, this diameter is just barely too big, but you can tape it to the top of the tank (packing tape, duct tape, electrical tape) and it still works just fine. Its the same diameter, it just wont fit "down into" the tank the way a funnel usually does. Use a plastic bag to cover the distribution pipe while you fill and it works great.

This is a well made funnel specifically for replacing the resin in a softener. It worked perfectly. It's well made. It's too nice to just toss once done, so we're letting the kids play with it in the backyard mud kitchen. It's holding up quite well out there.

Used to fill my media filter, worked great

This works great for the intended purpose of adding media to our water treatment. Since getting it I have found several other uses for it that in my view are more useful than the original purpose. It fits perfectly in the mouth of a quart mason jar. We like to keep our dry goods in mason jars but one of the big issues is how to fill them from the plastic bags these goods arrive in. We can now dump a bag of pistachios into a mason jar in a few seconds with 0 spillage- works well for at least a dozen other similar items. We also freeze raspberries, blueberries and blackberries on cookie sheets and then shovel them into gallon bags for storage in the freeze. This funnel completely avoids the issue of spilled frozen berries and speeds up the transfer so there are no thawing issues. We love it!

Use it for filling backs. Works great and size reduces spillage.

Using this to fill mylar bags or ziplocks with freeze-dried items and this has made the job SO much easier. Can "pour" directly from the tray without losing anything. It's light enough it doesn't crush or cause the mylar bags to tip over. Love it!

If your refilling your filter mediums, you NEED this. Any other ideas you may have, about pouring resin into a small hole, are incorrect. Do not risk your sanity. Buy this funnel. NOW. Time saved is money made. And also more time to just relax. DO IT.
