Unreliable
I'm an AV engineer and bought this to use as an MP3 doorbell through a BSS Digital signal processor. The concept and product works...for a day or two. I've tried this multiple times and after a short period of time the audio files corrupt and no longer play properly. The mp3 tracks degrade into pops and garbled noises. Updating the file every day unfortunately doesn't wok for my application but overall the product does do what it says....briefly.

Great product, poor quality control
Sparkfun is usually my go-to source for various electronics odds-and-ends. This might just be me, but I've noticed recently that build quality has gone down for their electronic assemblies overall. The !INT pin did not work on this board - the pin remained high and would not change states even after a song finished playing. I used proper logic-level shifting boards to interface signals between the 3.3V MP3 Trigger and my 5V Arduino microcontroller.
