Incredible!!!! I would not have believed it had I not experienced it myself !!!!
For those wondering, I'm just an average Computer Nerd kind of guy, not really a car guy, but I do most of my own maintenance on everything! Being a very Technical Computer guru, I'm always cautious when it comes to "Quick Fixes in a bottle" kind of stuff. I guess that is the analytical side of me kicking in all the time and it usually serves me well in the computer world, so I really didn't have much hope for fixing my 2001 Lincoln Town Car with about 91,000 miles on it. The car started "Shuddering" a few years ago, and like most folks, I had to eventually replace a "COP, Coil on Plug" device. About 8 months later, the Shudder started again, and this time a dash trouble light came on and the code indicated a bad COP device, so I had my mechanic replace another one that was found to be bad. At $200 buck a wack, this was getting expensive, so when this Shudder came back a third time, I decided to replace all of them as well as new plugs and wires. This worked great for a few months but then I got a "Different" kind of Shudder, and it only seemed to happen when shifting at speeds over about 35 MPH, and applying a little more gas pedal did not get rid of it like it did with the original COP based Shudder I experienced. In fact the engine was running smooth as glass, and it seemed like the car was trying to go into OverDrive locking transmission mode when this happened, so I was really confused. Lifting off the gas pedal then getting back on it seemed to make it stop, but then in a few minutes it would start again, particularly when approaching a slight grade up in the road. This car is used mostly in town, so speeds are slow, around 30 - 50 MPH when this happens. Out on the highway, the problem is much more pronounced. It seemed like the OverDrive would engage and then disengage very quickly and often would feel like you were driving over the little rumble bump strips on the side of the interstate at high speed. Doing a little research on the web led me to try this product as it made the most sense, and was certainly reasonably priced. So I ordered it from Amazon, and incredibly, it arrived the same day!!!! (Great Job Amazon!!!!!) I kind of stuck it in the corner for a few days, and this afternoon when my wife came home from the grocery store, she was complaining about the Shudder, so I went out and poured in one tube of this "Instant Shudder FIXX" into the transmission via the dip stick filler pipe and decided to just take the car for a spin and see if this was all it was cracked up to be. I don't impress easily, but WOW !!!!! WOW !!!!! WOW !!!!! I pulled out of the driveway onto our two lane 35 MPH road and drove about a mile with NO SHUDDER!!!! I turned onto HWY 17-92 and headed for Interstate 4 which is about 4 miles away. Speed limit on this road was 40 for about 2 miles, then 50 for another 2 miles. I got on I-4 heading East and accelerated off the ramp onto the highway, set the cruise control for 72 MPH, and let her fly!. After encountering several hilly areas where the car would have to work a little to get up, I exited the highway and took a few backroads all the way back home. Speeds ranged from about 30-55 MPH. This car shifted and ran smooth as silk!!!! Not a Single Shudder or pause during shifting during the entire trip!!!! I'm Absolutely Astounded with how well this product works!!!! Like I said earlier, I am very pessimistic when it comes to Miracle "Fixes in a bottle" products, but honestly, I still can't believe how fast and how well this product has worked in my old Lincoln Town Car!!!! I figured I had nothing to lose, and really didn't want to spend money for a whole new transmission for this old car and was going to trade it in for something else because the erratic shifting was just driving me crazy, particularly out on the highway. Wow, what more can I say? Anyway, if you have an old Lincoln Town Car that has a similar Shuddering problem and you are sure it's not the COP, Plugs or Wires, you owe it to yourself to give this product a shot!!!! If anything changes, I'll definitely update this post, but for now, this car is running as good as it did the day it left the showroom!!! Truly Amazing!!!! Thanks Lubegard for creating the "19610 Dr. Tranny INSTANT SHUDDER FIXX", This is a FABULOUS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!

Worked extremely well in our vehicles. Updated review.
UPDATED 8/10/2026: we added this to our 2008 Chrysler Town & Country with 125K miles two days ago with a hard shift issue. Immediately worked within 10-15 miles. Shifts butter smooth now. This stuff really works! Worked well in our Trailblazer, too, but I changed out the transmission fluid at 40K miles and that slight shudder is still gone. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Used on a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer and this product has reduced a slight shudder when accelerating by 95%. It was far worse before we added the product. Now it is barely noticeable and sometimes we don’t feel it at all. This product really works. I will be changing the transmission fluid soon (we only have 40K miles on the car) but if the shudder returns we will be buying this product again. Ordered some for my older Chrysler Town and Country with 125K miles that has a noticeable hard shift and shutter and we will see how that works.

Works perfectly
I ordered this Shudder Fix because I've noticed my wife's 09 Ford Edge was starting to slightly, rhythmically jump RPMs while driving up hills and near gear changes. Nothing that screamed I needed a new transmission. And no codes or pending codes on my scan tools. I was thinking vacuum leaks, throttle body, or ignition faults. Checked all hoses, cleaned and initialized throttle body, and changed spark plugs and coils. While it seemed initially better, we still had the problem. I knew it had to be the torque converter in the transmission then causing problems. Ordered this as a last ditch effort. I put it in the transmission dipstick and started driving around. It already felt better. You could feel it working after a couple miles. After about 15 minutes in there was absolutely no issues with shifting or driving hills. Was really easy to put it, quality is amazing, and it worked very well. Is it permanent? I'm not sure. But for now it looks like it will help the transmission work a lot longer.

Former skeptic. Now a believer. If you have trans shudder, TRY THIS!!!
I have a 2020 Buick Enclave with 9 speed transmission. 40K miles. Bad trans shudder. Normally it would be a dealership problem with this low mileage. Unfortunately, it has a Rebuilt title, so no factory warranty. I was looking at potentially having to have the transmission pulled and replace the Torque converter. That is big $$$. Some of the forums said change fluid a couple times and use this additive to resolve. People were talking about it like it is a miracle. So... First fluid change, fluid came out BLACK (this is a 40K vehicle!), but didn't smell burnt. Ran it a week and changed again. During that week I noticed that the shudder was MAYBE a little better, but still very bad. Second fluid change: This time a walnut color, but some pink hues (maybe dark purple/). Test drive after this fluid change had even more improvement in shudder but still there. Since I planned yet another fluid change in another week, and amazon had delivered this to me, I figured what the heck. If it makes it worse I have supplies to do an immediate change. So I dumped a tube in, took off down the street and H O L Y C O W! The shudder had gone from a severity level of 7 down to 0 (over 100 miles I may have gotten a tiny bit on one acceleration, so maybe not gone, but down to a 1 level (like if you weren't trained to look for it, you'd think it was the road). Based on the number of quarts the trans holds (11), the directions state that I could add up to one more tube. I may try half that much. Again, I know I have one more fluid change, so if it goes bad, I can do that immediately to recover. If you are wondering why the multiple fluid swaps, this transmission holds 11 quarts but the geniuses at GM designed a trans that only lets you drain 5.5 quarts out on a fluid change (you only change half of it). Also, no filter access unless you take the trans out of the car and crack open the case. So, if you change fluid once, you have 50% old fluid. Do it again, you have 25% old fluid, etc... Anyway, I was more than skeptical, but took a chance, and feel like I was given a small miracle in a tube.

Stoped shudder
Seem to be working. Added it to fluid change. Shudder has stop. Shifting smoothly so far.

Absolute miracle!
Went 5,000 over the recommended miles to change the transmission fluid. The torque converter started shuddering. Toyota wouldn’t change my transmission fluid anymore. I can’t believe this tube fixed the issue.

Worked surprisingly fast on my diesel Jeep
I questioned whether this product would work at all and definitely did not expect it to work within the first few minutes of driving. Wow! It definitely made the 1-2 hard shift in my Jeep liberty diesel go away. I was pretty sure I’d have to replace the torque converter to smooth out the shifting, but this took care of it at least for now

100 % Works in my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 E6 Speed Auto Trans
Add at normal op temp, drive 20 miles on highway, or more in town, b4 shutter stopped. i have 125k miles Trans Oil still looks & smells new even though last trans service was at 50k. I still have small shutter, I will use plastic hand vacuum pump on Amazon ($13.99 Katzco Liquid Transfer, Siphon Hand Pump - 2 Hoses, 50 x .5 Inches - for Gas, Oil, Air, Chemical Insecticides etc.) with long tube into filler tube to pump out 1qt, 10oz., ( Best Pump!) I used it to R&R almost all my fluids: Rear Diff through pan fill, pwr strg, brk fluid out of master cyl, carefully not to expose bottom, coolant from fill reservoir 2 gallons add 2 drive then repeat, didnt want to pull the hose, no drain valve, i flushed pump with small amount of new fluid in 1gal. clear water bottle, & also used brake clean after the brake fluid and make sure no cross contamination, it works fast and worth every penny..) and add 1qt ACDelco GM Original Equipment 10-9394 Dexron VI Automatic Transmission Fluid, and 10 oz. of Lubegard 60902 Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant at Amazon Lubegard store. 2 shops advised me NOT to pull pan, drain and replace fluid & filter on my model trans! Both said they did on 2 & it immediately started slipping and failed on both. Also NEVER let ANY shop FLUSH & FILL your trans with their machine! it pushes all the old fluid backwards with pressure through the filter! and likely cause severe damage. The right way is to remove the pan. or use the hand pump, it will pull almost every drop out. Plus on my truck the muffler is in the way and bolted to exhaust manifold, rusted bolts likely snap off. One video shows loosening all the muffler mounting brackets and supports and using a ratchet strap to pull the loose muffler up against the bottom of the bed, and gives you just enough clearance to remove the pan without damage to it and the gasket reinstall. and then able to R&R the filter or other required parts on the bottom of trans. One mechanic has same trans with almost 200k original fluid & filter! and fluid is still good, & working normal. Scotty on youtube recommended the Lubegard. check your trans model to be sure you put the right one in. their website will show you. use your vin# to look it up, same for adding the right ATF. Hope that helps. I have been helped a lot by other Amazon detailed reviews so that's why I listed everything that may help you. Good luck...

Great product for Honda automatic. Shifting like a dream.

This really works
Great stuff this, totally stopped the tcc judder in my x350, letting me carry on using the car without the worry of stressing the gearbox while it gets booked in for a replacement torque converter. I don't think this stuff is a permanent fix though.
