desertcart.com: Eraser: 9781493577279: Keith, Megan: Books Review: Yes, Sir! - I absolutely freaking loved this hot, steamy, sexy, intense, erotic tease of a read! This novella pulled me in from the first chapter & left me wanting MORE!!!! Normally I'm not a fan of novellas, you just might have change my opinion on them. Megan, pleeeeeeease continue this story! This world needs more Sir. If you're looking for a hot little quicky, Eraser is where it's at! Review: It's a good quickie - The reviews are all over the map on this one. I'm in the middle. It's got a label as being dark....well, not so much. OK - The bar is dark and it's dark behind a blindfold but other than that it's just erotic. Mackenzie watches mysterious stranger take someone different home every week and wants her turn. She gets it, but notices immediately that she is being treated differently than all of the other women. He actually buys her (the bartender) a few drinks. She leaves with him. She orgasms in some pretty awesome ways. There is actually a connection, but it's not clearly spelled out until the end. That's not a bad thing. I think that it's exactly where it should have been for the peace of mind on both characters. I would have liked to have seen it go on a bit longer, but I think that it ended well. It's a short read with good sex and I would tell my friends to pick it up.

I wanted more!
3.5 stars Have you ever read "Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier?. One of my favorite classic books in literature. It has crime, and romance and mystery. However, still nowadays, what really captures the attention to many people, is the fact that the narrator never says her first name, always referring to herself as Mrs. De Winter. The book ends and leave the reader in limbo; furthermore, hesitating if in fact, the narrator was Mrs. De Winter. Eraser, started really good. With strong characters. a promising premise, and promising lines. The intrigue, the unknown and the anticipation of a one in a lifetime time indecent proposal, that could change your life forever...EXITING RIGHT! more over, the straight forward conversations, his expectations, requirements, and unconventional approach had a lot to digest, specially, considering it is only supposed to be for one night. Despite Mackenzie's confidence, he was an irresistible men, and she could not resist. Eventually, gave in to his less than chivalrous intentions. The anticipation of what he will say and do next, kept me on guard. However, his abusive behavior at times, made me mad and even dislike him. Most of the book was inviting, unfortunately it was too short. The epilogue left me wanting more... it was not enough and the story had the potential. I don't know if there will be another book. I liked the author's writing and she already has the dirty mind so...what else do you need right? In conclusion, too short...it had room for more; liked the author and will definitely, read more from her. And last, Mrs. Keith...please don't leave me hanging...what is "SIR" name? The Lord woman!

OMG!
Who is this author? I'm going to go do some research. The ending to the story was brilliant. The whole story, amazing!!! I wanted MORE!!!! I need MORE! When you are reading the story you are kind of thinking the guy is a bit of a jerk, but OH NO! He is definitely not. The girl, Mackenzie, was a strong character. I loved her, she was not whiny or weak. This story has some very hot, steamy sex scenes so be warned. There is also romance, you might think when you are reading it that it's not a HEA, but it is. Loved the whole story!

Short but exciting read... makes you want to say 'Yes Sir'
WARNING: This novella contains explicit sex scenes (including BDSM) and is for mature 18+ readers only. So I met Megan Keith at the Indie Authors Down Under event at the Gold coast in March... I found a lot of new authors and got lots of new books to read... and I was lucky in that this was available free that weekend and I have finally gotten around to reading Eraser! This book has given me a new meaning to "Yes Sir" - this is a short Novella that packs a punch. It covers BDSM so as the warning in the synopsis says if this type of content offends you this book is not for you. The story is about Mackenzie who works in a bar, one of the patrons is a mysterious man who visits once a week. He orders the same drink, scotch on the rocks, (a man with taste - I love the brand that he drinks!) He drinks alone, but he never leaves that way. But this time he has turned his attention on Mackenzie. Instead of feeling nervous Mackenzie is enthralled, intrigued… and aroused. Mackenzie has felt attracted to this man since he walked into the bar, so when he tells her to sit and have a drink with him, she does. This Novella is a great example of a short read with great erotic writing and I would say to anyone who likes this genre to one-click. totally awesome Quoting Megan - "This was originally written as a stand alone short story but after numerous requests for more, it has recently been turned into a series. Book two, Eraser Blue is now available". thank goodness she listened to her fans... I was glad I got book 2 there on my kindle waiting for me to dive straight back in!

First off I need to mention the total attention grabber of a synopsis Megan Keith has written for this novella. The way he is described all mysterious and sexy had me instantly curious and I swear I could hear his novella screaming, “read me, read me”! And Boy, I’m glad I did. Cheese and Rice this novella is frickin' hot! This is a totally hot, quick and down right dirty read about giving into a night of kinkyness with a sex on a stick of a man. Mackenzie works in a high-class bar with an array of upper class clientele. She enjoys her job and the attention she is often given by the men who frequent the bar. But Mackenzie longs for the attention of a certain dark and sexy stranger. Friday nights is when he comes in, the sexy stranger who sits alone, drinks alone, and never utters a word her way. Despite arriving alone, to Mackenzie’s disappointment he most definitely never leaves that way. After watching him exchanging words with different women week after week Mackenzie is often left feeling a tinge of jealousy, as she sees them leaving with him for what she only imagines is a night of hot sex. Sex she wishes she was having with mister dark and dangerous. Then finally one night Mackenzie turns around to find him standing in front of her with a proposition she cannot refuse. After some not so needed persuasion involving sexy banter, promises of what’s to come, a few expensive drinks, a phone call to her boss (made by him of course) and a clear promise that this is a one-time offer with no repeats, Mackenzie makes the decision to go home with the nameless stranger. “ I will make you change your perspective on what good sex feels like. Once you’ve been with me, you will compare every man you are with afterwards to me. I will erase every memory of every man you have ever been with, good and bad”. Once her decision is made and they leave the bar we begin to witness the beginnings of the game our sexy stranger has in mind for Mackenzie. “My game and my rules” “You will continue to address me as ‘Sir’. My name is not important” Once the rules are explained and the blindfold is in place over her eyes, the dominant man that is Sir begins to surface and a buzz of excitement begins not only for Mackenzie but also for Keith’s readers. Just as quick as the blindfold is in place the pages begin to crescendo with sexual anticipation. I couldn’t wait to see where this encounter was going to go. And oh how this encounter is so very scorching hot! The description of how Sir undresses her while she remains blindfolded standing in front of him had my kindle steaming in my hand! Sir: “The shoes stay on” Mackenzie: “Kinky” Sir: “You ain’t seen nothing yet sweetheart.” He whispered in her ear. “We’re about to redefine your definition of kinky.” Oh. My. God, does he ever deliver on his promise! What follows is an inferno of super hot and descriptive BDSM sex that had my pulse and heart rate rising all the while leaving me panting for more. And if you’re a Nine Inch Nails fan like I am, you will now have a bevy of visuals to accompany the songs ‘Mr. Self destruct’ and ‘Eraser’ (Begin fanning oneself here). The next morning, despite a night of the best sex she’s ever had and a feeling that perhaps Sir sees her different from the others we see Mackenzie quickly being kissed and dismissed by Sir as promised. While high tailing it outta there the words “no repeats” rings in her head and she’s completely disappointed and so am I to be honest, I wanted more for her too!! After a week without any word from Sir, Mackenzie still has her hopes up that he will show up as usual on Friday, but of course he doesn’t. But then…thank goodness for a epilogue in Sir’s POV that makes me do my happy dance! I loved it!! He wants her! And has for some time! He’s a man with a plan, a plan that involves getting Mackenzie for more than just one night. But then, as I’m dancing I’m quickly overcome with the notion to slam my kindle against the wall!!! As he’s about stake his claim and introduce himself… THE BOOK ENDS!!!!!!! WTF???? Who does that??? This ending killed me and I wanted to scream! Thank god I have book 2 ready to go! If you read this series, having book 2 on hand is an immediate must.

OMG - I am beyond conflicted with this one but in a good way!!!! The book was staggering - it was intense, erotic and completely consuming but had one tiny fault - it was way too short!! And that ending - god help me! I was realing when I realised that it was finished. I have heard about leaving a reader wanting more - but this left me bereft. Not for the faint hearted the story is full on from the first page and the interaction between Mack and "Sir" was as steamy and erotic as any you will read. It made me gasp and question in my mind if I wanted to read anymore but there was absolutely no chance that I could tear my eyes away from the page. Mackenzie faces a reckoning when she gets her chance with "Him". Awakening everything domant and unexplored within her - he rocks her to her core and she in turn learns that she is more than the norm, she is capable of extra-ordianary. She can be that girl - the one she never through she could - the one that deserves her place in his world. He on the other hand is an enigma, he seems cruel and the coldest of dominants,I mean I physically flinched when he slapped her across the face, I felt violated for her! - but I couldn't turn away from him - he held my attention and demanded that I saw him out to the end. I felt for Mackenzie after their encounter but as she held her head high and got on with life - I crossed my heart that "Sir" would return. With that in mind I was bubbling by the time I got to the last page- he made sense and she was worth it. For all that is holy Ms Keith please give us more of Sir and Mackenzie- My soul wont be able to cope without a follow up

Looking for a quickie?! I found one! This is a good, mysterious, one hour read. It’s nice that through out this novella there is an air of mystery, and, an air of familiarity between these two. She’s a waitress in a classy bar, he’s the mystery man that always comes in regularly, and watches, waiting for the right time to take her. I was expecting a big reveal at the end, but no spoilers, I like that she doesn’t know his name, or at least it’s never revealed. This has been turned into a series, but I’m quite content to have just read this. Give this a go if you’re after a quickie. It does contain mild BDSM, nothing off the colour charts. At the time of this review, this novella was a freebie on Amazon. It was very well edited and a smooth read. I’d recommend reading it and seeing if you like the authors style, as she has many more titles available, and I think she’ll be one to watch.
